I visited Alicia's Coffee LLC for the first time this morning. I was greeted with a warm "Good morning" as soon as I walked in the door. Everyone was so friendly. The space is beautiful. I ordered black coffee and a cheese Danish. Then I saw Amber's cookies and had to have one. The baker was there, so I had the opportunity to meet him also. I got my order to go and enjoyed it once I got to work. The wait wasn't long, but they engaged me in conversation for the time I had to wait. I like that. The coffee was strong and smooth just how I like it. The Danish was large, and they didn't skimp on the cream cheese. It was delectable. The cookie was thin but chewy - delectable. I like that they are open from 7-4 so I can go before and after work. I will definitely return and tell others about Aliciaa's. They...
Read moreI personally was not the person to pick up food from here but I was on the phone during the process . I could hear them and they sounded very welcoming as soon as my bf walked into the location. I do not personally drink coffee unless it’s mushroom coffee so this review is strictly for the food . The food is frozen and then warmed up in a microwave of some sort. By the time it got to me 6 mins away the French toast and chicken sausage sandwich was tough. It’s kind of like when you over warm bread in the microwave. There is nothing wrong with frozen or refrigerated packaged food but if you’re going to serve it to the public at least have a toaster oven or air fryer to cook it and give it a presentable taste and crisp feeling. Food taste exactly like elementary...
Read moreI’ll start with this is a pillar of the community and Alicia is doing her big one! She is very warm and welcoming, felt like family. She shared the story of how she got started and her inspiration behind the coffee shop. I got the serenity tea which she likened to the medicine ball at Starbucks. It was delicious and not super sweet. Instantly I felt better as I was under the weather, including sore throat and cough. She’s located in front of the A. G. Gaston Motel. She gave us a bit of history on the hotel as she showed us a view of the room the civil rights leaders met in from the back area. She had regulars stop by which she greeted like old friends and checked in on their kids. All in all 10 outta 10. We’ll always stop by when...
