🌟 Refined Dining at Its Best – Bell Bistro Delivers a Taste Sensation! 🌟

From start to finish, our experience at Bell Bistro was nothing short of exceptional. The atmosphere was elegant and inviting, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their friendly and attentive service.

🍹 Drinks & Appetizers We kicked things off with refreshing drinks that arrived promptly. For appetizers, we shared the wagyu meatball, hot honey chicken, and golden chili crisp shrimp. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared: The wagyu meatball was savory and tender—not overly dense like traditional meatballs. The hot honey chicken stole the show for me. I could’ve easily devoured three orders! The shrimp was perfectly crispy and a crowd favorite at our table.

These shareable bites were both delectable and satisfying.

🍽️ Entrees I ordered the Faroe Island salmon, served with marble potatoes, Brussels sprouts, butternut squash, and microgreens. Cooked medium-well, the salmon was seasoned beautifully and paired wonderfully with the vibrant vegetables. We also tried the chef’s special salmon cakes and a side of fresh-cut fries. The cakes were hearty and flavorful, and the fries tasted just as fresh as they looked.

🥧 Dessert To finish, we shared a fried donut reminiscent of a beignet, dusted with powdered sugar and served with a blueberry compote. Warm and crisp on the outside, soft on the inside—this dessert was a delightful finale. The blueberry compote added just the right touch of sweetness without overpowering the dish.

💬 Final Thoughts While the entrée portions could have been slightly larger for the price, the overall experience was outstanding. Bell Bistro offers a refined culinary journey that’s worth savoring. I’ll definitely be returning for another round of flavor-packed dishes and warm...

First time to the new spot in downtown Birmingham with two other couples. We were seated a bit late waiting for other guests to depart from our table. No big deal. The place has a nice vibe totally different from the prior place. We ate on the main level. They still have the lower level for dining. I was disappointed when I looked at the menu as it had changed since even the day prior. I had been looking forward to the steak frites all week but, alas, it was gone replaced by a filet. I opted for the creole comfort instead which was very good with just the right amount of heat. My wife enjoyed her smash burger which was cooked a bit much for her liking but said it was still very juicy. Note to chef, ease up on the salt on the fries which were otherwise solid. Others on the group had pasta which everyone enjoyed. Several of us had a Caesar which was excellent and huge easily enough to be shared. Prices are reasonable particularly for Birmingham. One minor gripe....no bread service even for purchase unless I missed it. The room is very loud so keep that in mind if that bothers you. Definitely worth a visit and a good addition...

I made a reservation on January 20th for a Galentine’s dinner for me and a couple of friends for Sunday February 9th at 7:30pm. I received a confirmation email the day I made the reservation as well as a confirmation text on Saturday February 8th in which I replied to…confirming I would be there. I also received a text notification reminding me the day of, 30 minutes prior to my dinner thar my table would be ready only to show up and the restaurant was closed. I’m not sure if this was an unexpected closure or how long they’ve been closed for. I say this to say, I would have appreciated if someone had reached out to me weeks or even days prior to my reservation to either cancel or notify me that my reservation wasn’t going to be able to be fulfilled. We had to scramble to find another restaurant to celebrate…in the middle of busy Sunday dinner hours and the Super Bowl. It was a major inconvenience and I don’t see myself ever making reservations again. Big disappointment for a new...

Absolutely loved it. We didn’t have a reservation and they were full. I think they saw the disappointment on our face. Then we got seated at the bar, which I love. The drinks were awesome, appetizers were even better and it went up from there! Salmon delicious!!! Amazing low or no additive tequila selection for her and a couple unique whiskey selections for me!!! We always play a game of guessing the bill and for once it was lower than both of our guesses!!! That made everything better, we will be back!!! Oh yes, our bartender/server Zach is amazing at what he does!!! (the meatball presentation looked better, I was super hungry and cut it in half before I took the picture, same reasoning for no picture of the salmon that didn’t last long enough. Sorry.)
