Visting a friends home in Birmingham we got 3 pies for carry out. This was THE worst pizza I've ever had. It had absolutely none of the qualities normally associated with pizza. It didn't have any crispyness, not even the crust. The slices were so limp we had to basically fold them longitudinally to prevent them from flopping over like a wet rag. The dough must be un-risen; basically a double thick half cooked pita. The sauce was extremely minimal and tasted as if it's just stewed tomatoes out of the can, no herbs or garlic that I could discern. Strangely the bottom of the slices were significantly blackened. Strange because normally when dough gets hot enough to turn blackened it also becomes noticeably crispy, stiff, and bitter. As described above, these limp slices had none of those qualities. I strongly suspect this blackening is some sort of decoration they add to trick you into believing it was well cooked in a hot oven. Folks, just because a product costs significantly more than is typical does not mean that your getting a premium product. This place has completely pulled one over on you. They serve you a low quality product using a third of the ingredients and charge you more then double the going rate. Wealthy folks are suckers for this "If it cost more it MUST be premium." fallacy. To all low rankings this business will reply directly. The reason they do that is because the algorithm of Google Maps Ranking is driven by these replys. It's an automatic system whereby if a business responds to complaints google will make the business more likely to appear to a user searching "pizza". So, Brooklyn Pizza, please do not bother with a reply; your pizza is...

I’ve been to Brooklyn’s Pizza a few times before and the food was usually pretty good. The slices were solid and it was a convenient spot to grab a bite. But after what happened recently, I won’t be coming back.

My friends and I went in during a busy time, just like a lot of other people. We were quietly waiting and not bothering anyone, just standing in line like everyone else. Out of nowhere, the owner came up to us and told us we had to leave because the store was “over capacity.” That would’ve been understandable if it applied to everyone — but as we were walking out, new people were still coming in and even getting in line behind us. There were others just standing around in the store too, but nothing was said to them.

When we asked politely why we were being singled out, things took a turn. The owner got aggressive and actually grabbed one of my friends by the shirt and dragged him out. It was honestly shocking and completely uncalled for.

We couldn’t help but feel like we were targeted, especially being Middle Eastern. Whether it was racism or just the owner being rude, it was completely inappropriate and unnecessary.

It’s sad because the pizza here used to be good, but after experiencing the owner firsthand, I won’t support a place where people are treated like that. Plenty of other pizza spots around that actually respect...

First time eating here, and I was definitely not disappointed! The pizza was fantastic, and if you've been to NYC and have had to brave the small but awesome pizzerias and the crowds, then this place will feel awfully familiar! Friday night at 730pm, the place was jumping! It's not a large place, so it can get tight l, but honestly, I felt it made the experience and the pizza that much better! You go in, step to the counter, tell or shout...in our case, it was super crowded and loud, so we shouted, the order to one of the gentlemen behind the counter and stand back and watch your order being made! They have a large menu, but don't worry if you can't choose... you can order slices! One of each kind if you like. I got one slice of the 3 mushrooms, 3 cheese, Margherita, and four cheese! I can see why they are faves and their signature slices. Each one tasted so fresh and different. My favorite was the Four Cheese! Melt in your mouth good, and the addition of the mascarpone cheese was a touch I never thought I needed until I had that slice of cheese pizza! Added such a silky smooth bite...it was good! I could go on all day, but the best advice I can give is to head to Birmingham and grab a slice or three for yourself! They also sell ice cream for a...

TERRIBLE PIZZA, WHAT A SHAME! Brooklyn Pizza was my go-to pizza place in the past and I would recommend them to everyone. I'm not sure if the ownership or management has changed but the pizza ingredients certainly have, and for the worst! It doesn't taste anything like it used to! The dough is soggy and boring. The cheese was way too salty and wasn't completely melted which tells me it is a cheap substitute from what they used to use. Even the sauce was different. It was extra greasy which contributed to the soggy crust. In the past, that crust stayed crispy no matter how much grease touched it! The bottom of the crust was absolutely burnt and it tasted awful. Of course the prices have skyrocketed....$24 for a large pepperoni?? It used to be either $16 or $18. Overall, it tasted like a Chef Boyardee or Red Baron frozen pizza. Unbelievably disappointing. Bye Brooklyn, it was nice knowing you.

Location is a vibe. Love NY food and pizza is my Favorite food specifically, but this place is MID. Slices are decently sized, price is a bit absurd for the quality, but hey it’s downtime birmingham, I got a slice of the pepperoni and the 4 cheese for my lady, on Father’s Day. Ambiance is amazing and it’s a chill spot if you wanna kick back with the fam and unwind, but compared to other pizza places money can be spent elsewhere for more bang for your back . A little disappointed the pizza wasn’t “pizzaing” from the size , taste; and texture. No meat lovers either? They trippin would go back if someone offered to pay or at the request of a buddy but definitely not a first pick to be honest.
