I'd like to start off by saying Darakjian Jewelers provides exceptional and unprecedented customer service. I have purchased several items from Darakjian Jewelers over the past several years and when it came time to purchase a special piece of jewelry for a major milestone birthday for my wife, I only considered working with Darakjian Jewelers.

Upon walking into the stylish, warm and welcoming store, I was greeted by multiple members of the team, including Armen Darakjian, the owner. I didn't have a lot of time for my initial visit, but explained what I was looking for. I also stated that my wife's birthday was less than a week away and it would be fine to give her the piece after her actual birthday. Armen was not having any of that! He told me we have to capture the moment and surprise on my wife's actual birthday. I was blown away by how committed he was to make it an exceptional experience. Given the tight timeframe, Armen even offered to meet me on his day off.

A few days later, I met with Armen again to look at about 10 different stones. He led me through a very fun and innovative process to assess and evaluate which stone would be perfect. When we narrowed it down to the top 3 choices, we looked at the stones in different lighting conditions, including walking outside and across the street. I have never had that kind of customer service before. I'm literally walking around outside with Armen holding a small fortune of beautiful stones in my hand. Unbelievable! I made the final selection and Armen offered me a glass of champagne to celebrate.

A few days later, on my wife's birthday, I came into the store to pick up the ring. Armen asked me how and where I was going to present the ring to my wife and I told him I was planning to do it at a local restaurant. His eyes lit up and he said, "what if I call over to the owner of the restaurant and have the ring delivered to your wife along with two glasses of champagne after we sit down?" I thought about it for a few seconds and told Armen that would be incredible. He personally drove over to the restaurant and arranged the whole thing. My wife was completely surprised after we sat down and two glasses of champagne were delivered, along with a Darakjian Jewelers bag. Did I mention that the champagne was complimentary of Armen Darakjian? My wife was speechless upon opening the jewelry box and seeing the amazing ring that Armen and I designed together. Everyone at the tables around us and the wait staff came over to look at the ring and then they spontaneously started singing 'Happy Birthday' to my wife.

It was simply a magical evening and far exceeded my expectations for my wife's 50th birthday. The next day, Armen called me to see how the event went.

There are not enough words to describe this gorgeous jewlery store. I’ve been wanting to change my wedding ring setting for quite some time now and finally I got the chance too. I was born and raised in Detroit Michigan got engaged and moved to California. My entire family still resides in Michigan so I’m always visiting about a few times a year.
