Let's just say if I could put a 0 star review I would. I haven't ever had an issue at dairy queen before but this was one of worst experiences I have ever had. When we entered, the store was already busy which I understand and was not concerned about. We ordered our blizzards and waited in line (April 11th around 5pm) all of the workers were doing their best to try to get orders out as quick as possible and they were doing a great job until the manager walked in. He started yelling at the associates about how they were being slow and started talking down on them. When he did complete an order he would slam it down on the counter causing the new cashier to have to wipe them off and clean up the mess he made. He was talking down to the cashier as well and telling her "I have no clue what is going on, I just got started and I'm doing all the red on the orders" in a very angry tone. She was doing all she could, don't get me wrong some orders got mixed up but that was because when she would ask the manager what it was he would get an attitude and just guess at what it was. I had to get my order remade because my thin mint blizzard come out first but they messed up my husband's order and gave him something completely different and it wasn't wasn't the same size it was a mini and we ordered a medium. I understand being busy and being upset that you just got in and you are already in a bind but at the same time it is summer time and almost 80⁰F in Alabama plus your employees are already doing what they can to keep up so there is no sense in yelling at them for trying their best. We will not be coming back to this location! Cashier if you see this you were...
Read moreWe live a half mile from this location. Pulled up ordered 3 blizzards, one cone. They hand us the blizzards with every one of them dripping down the side and about an inch over the top, so effectively handing us already melting ice cream that is not contained in a cup…where’s it going to go but all over the place! Immidiately ask for a carrier but NONE of the cups actually fit in the carrier slots so we have to squeeze the cup a bit to get them to fit causing more of a catastrophe of the melting mountains of ice creams we have on our hands. We drive home with all this ice cream melting into the carrier and on my gf’s legs, the stuff is all over my hands and shirt at this point which means it’s on anything I touch in the car. So when we park we have to do this messy shimmy to even get out the car without absolutely trashing it more. Get to our door and have to run in and get seperate containers to transfer the ice cream into. We literally drove a half mile and back and were handed already melted(ing) ice creams with no way to contain it. And the cherry on top? My gf’s kid found 4 hairs in her ice cream. Ugggh! Have SOME pride in your job even if...
Read moreStaff was nice but… ordered two of the new stack burgers and if I’m going to pay 7.49+tx I at least want it to taste like it’s supposed to. It had two tiny strips of bacon, a splash of A-1, and one little dot of the peppercorn sauce that I still don’t know what it tastes like. The other two cheese burger was ok but barely any mayo. They throw these things together want to charge way too much. The $7+ banana split also wrong. Ordered it with two strawberry and one chocolate but they put one strawberry two chocolate. And after looking at it, I way overpaid for a container of soft serve and a banana bc that’s basically what I got. DQ, if you are going to charge $7+ you should at least put enough syrup so I do t feel like all I got was ice cream. The sad thing is that I was the only one in the drive thru. Like I said, staff was nice but if I’ve got to pay 20 something dollars for 2 hamburgers and a dessert please make sure they are made...
