This was my first, and sadly my last, time visiting this establishment. I would love to give 1 star but to be honest, the food wasn't the worst, at first ... and 1 employee made the difference. I was on a double date with some close friends and we had a pretty large order overall but I personally ordered the 2 for $10 tacos. 1 chicken, 1 steak. Steak was great! Chicken had no flavor, was diced up and thrown cold into the taco shell with some other items. They give you chips & salsa with your meal and since the tacos, guac and all were so bland, I dumped my small container of salsa provided between the two tacos. Our table was approached by a very nice gentlemen asking if we got everything and checking in - and I asked if it was possible to get another little cup of salsa. He said sure! ... he then was stopped by what seemed the manager, who rudely said, in front of us, "it's not free". I said "fine, no problem i'll pay for it".... although I found that silly. I spent $56 and got a tshirt - you can give me a cup that fits MAYBE 2 TBSP of salsa but whatever. So I go to give my card and I am told it's a $3 minimum. I said forget it to the rude manager. The nice gentlemen said "it's $1, i'll pay for it for you" but I said "thank you but no thank you". So silly!!! Not worth my time and energy or money at this location. The 2nd note for a low rating is i've been sick sick with food poisoning for a day now when all I ate was at this location. I am sure it's from this place, as my husband, also started feeling ill. Will not return or recommend based on...
Read moreMy friend got the "Cowboy" which was steak and I think mine was called "Destin". It was shrimp, crab, cucumber, and avocado with spicy mayo and sushi rice. It was wrapped in nori and had black sesame seeds. It was delicious and not too heavy in this heat. I was reading the sign and any of the "burritos" can be customized. We also shared an order of mango slaw. Yummy! Add a bit of soy sauce and it gives it a very different flavor. Both "burritoes" came with chips and salsa, I didn't eat my chips or salsa, but they looked like white corn tortilla chips. It's reasonably priced and I was able finish my entire "burrito" where normally I only eat half my food and take the rest to go. They offer a variety of bottled drinks and fruishi for dessert. I enjoyed the decor and just reading the menu, as this was my first time to eat here. The atmosphere is a little ecclectic and so colorful. Most definitely will return. It ranks pretty high on my list of regular places now. Service is friendly and fast. I wish I had a photo for you, but I ate it and can tell you it was fantastic, looked great, and tasted like it was made with love. After a 5 mile walk, I was hungry. Atmosphere is great, it's a small location, but they have tables outside, as well as inside. Highly recommend if you're looking for something filling and light in this heat. 10/10 must try, if you...
Read moreIt's definitely a fun concept, the food tasted great but it did not sit well with my partner and I. By the end of the meal (the LHM and Rainbow) we began to realize it was not right. Long story short, we spent $43 for food poisoning. I'm not sure if the ingredients weren't as fresh as usual or what, but we definitely experienced food poisoning. I'm very familiar with sushi so this is not a typical reaction at all, and judging by other reviews it just looks like we caught them on a bad day. The food did not taste off though- there are lots of sauces on the burritos that may have masked off-flavors to the fish
EDIT: we definitely have food poisoning, and as we both are different breakfasts it was definitely from here. Again, perhaps their food is not as fresh or frequently stocked because of the pandemic because other customers did not report this issue, but my partner and I have been terribly sick since lunch here. My first will unfortunately also be...
