Jack's Restaurant — Restaurant in Bishop

Stop here for breakfast or lunch! You won’t be disappointed. The place was very full with people, some were certainly travellers (Bishop hs lots of hotels) and some seemed to be locals. Staff were friendly and they seemed happy to work there. The food was exceptional and delivered quickly. Coffee was hot and good. Real cream on the table - excellent choice! The place was clean and the decor was cute and entertaining. The menu served all appetite capacities which is helpful for smaller appetites. We had come from the Grand Canyon a few days earlier where we grabbed a quick breakfast (3 McMuffins) and one coffee and paid $30. We paid a little over thirty here at Jack’s and had two full breakfasts -steak (moist and juicy, perfect) and eggs and a sausage and cheese omelette both with all of the trimmings. There is no comparison. We were robbed by McDonald’s (by our own choosing) but had great value at Jack’s.

Don’t drive by if you are in the area. Stop and enjoy the great food, friendly staff and fun,...

Breakfast is decent enough, Its actualy prety good ..BUT That place has got the worst dinners I have eaten ,,or tried to eat , I have encounterd in a long time ..Surprised Dennys hasnt put it out of busness . My Wife had two of the worst Pork Chops I have ever seen , Lookd like they were run over by something before frying ..I tried to eat what they call Meat Loaf..and it was disgusting for lack of a better word.. It will be awhile before im Back in there for there Dinner minue..It is sadley obvious there Cook (could certainly not be a Chef) Has no Pride what so ever what he does in there .. And I do Live here in Bishop..Apears Dennys willbe getting my busness as there Is certainly a lacking of Eating establishments in Bishop these days As for the ones think Jack's is so Good ..Well I can only hope there taste is ...whatever it is ... I could easily give then a 2- on the scale of 10..Breakfast saved...

Dined here with a friend once and I hate to say it but I feel like we were discriminated against. This was during the height of COVID. We walked in and right away were met with hostility by the old hostess or waitress, whatever she was. As soon as we walked in she yelled that we had to wait outside the door. We respected that but soon after us, a family walks in and she didn’t tell them anything. The family was allowed to wait in the restaurant while we were made to wait in the cold. She gave them service and led them to their table soon after. After waiting awhile, we were finally allowed in. That lady was very rude towards us, I don’t know why she treated us so poorly while she maintained a positive attitude with everyone else. We’re not even from the area and we were just visiting family. Food was good but I would not go back and dine there if that bitter old lady still...
