VERY nice people! Great customer service - we were on a family vacation and stopped there for coffee. Upon reaching our destination, we realized that we had lost approximately three (3) gloves somewhere along the way. Seeing how that was the only place we stopped, we concluded we must have lost them there. We called the Starbucks and asked them if they could please check for our approximately (3) missing gloves. We called back in a score of minutes or so to see that they had retrieved the gloves from the parking space, where they had been dropped. The gloves were alive and safe, though frightened. The staff offered to hold onto the gloves for us until we could come pick them up. They also let us talk to them (the gloves) on the phone, to assure them we would be back. This greatly pacified the gloves. In just three short days we were reunited with our winter clothing. O happy day! It was a tearful and joyful reunion. The gloves were happy to see us, though a bit muddy from where we had accidentally run them over on the way out the first way. We washed them and they are now drying. I will wear them again tomorrow. Thank you so much to the helpful and caring staff for bring our babies (the babies in this case being the three (3) gloves) back to us! The staff saved them and cared for them until we could return for them and be a whole family once again. With their quick thinking, a crisis and possible tragedy was avoided, and such a deed doesn't go unnoticed. To the staff: you guys are the best
Read moreI’ve been to this location (North West Jackson Avenue, Michigan by a sushi place) before and the drinks have ALWAYS been delicious. HOWEVER, the thing that made me demote my five star rating was that they OFTEN have their in-store area COMPLETELY CLOSED!! This means no going inside and strictly drive-through. They do NOT inform you about this ahead of time and you often don't know until you take the trip and arrive at this location. Usually the drive through is ALWAYS packed so I always go inside and it’s always very nice and I have no complaints about that. Today, me and my family went because they had the buy one get one free deal and I ordered ahead of time on the app because its more convenient for me. We get there to find the drive through wrapped around the building and the inside to be closed AFTER i had already paid with a gift card. They did allow me to save my deal but it is a trip and my parents are constantly working so my money was blatantly wasted. All I think is they should add something that tells people “Hey, only our drive through is open today!” or something so people are aware. The lady said, “Well, if you order ahead you should be aware it might not be open inside.” And I COMPLETELY understand this but it would be nice if they showed us its closed on the mobile app before we waste gas. Plus, the line doesn't move super zippy WHICH I UNDERSTAND but it was very hot and we just sat in one spot for 10 minutes. PLUS, my drink(s) were already made and ready but they were not able to just bring my ready drinks out to us instead we would have had to wait for them to be mushy by the time we got to the window finally. I waited in line for 55 minutes for a pick up order and I know that for a fact because I was on the phone while I was in line so I know what time I got there and how long I waited. I get to the window they tell me they don’t have my order and that I need to exit the line and place a whole new order. Extremely rude and 0 customer service skills. So I place a new order and go inside when it says it’s ready instead of waiting in line for another hour. They tell me they do not have either order I show them the receipts where everything was paid for and they tell me their policy is that they throw orders away after 30 minutes so I explained I was in the drive thru for an hour and asked if I could get a refund or a new order or something, anything after they lost two of my orders that I paid for and got nothing. The woman at the counter proceeds to argue with me telling me I did no wait in line that long and no customer has ever been in line that long and she doesn’t have any of my orders and there’s nothing she can do and tells me to have a good day. I walked out because I don’t like to argue or cause a scene so I left after being disrespected spending damn near $30 and leaving empty handed with no solution just telling me they took my money and could give me nothing. I’ve never been so shocked and disappointed in an establishment! Where is the customer service? Where is the professionalism?
