Spectacular service. Pike Blend brewed fresh on the spot. Very Hot. Right on exact temperature. Unmatched, superlative Pike Blend, my all-time favorite. I dream about this coffee! I might add that Starbucks makes the very best Capuccino that you will ever taste. Out of around 29K stores worldwide, Starbucks University Blacksburg is one of this company’s signature stores! Update 01-17-2019: With the total number of Starbucks stores approaching the 29K ballpark, worldwide, the University Blacksburg Store is this company's premier location. Upon entering this store, you can feel the positive vibe, a reliable barometer toward the entire company's immediate prospects. Interesting how this works. Once inside, the drip coffee is an indicator of how things are running in the store at that moment. If the drip is on target, you can bet that all of the espresso drinks are right on the mark! From a management perspective, you can understand why this is the case. So much emphasis in the coffee industry is placed on the most trendy espresso drinks, but not to forget the basics - where it all began - the drip coffee. The construction guy headed out to work on the roof of a high rise building needs his cup of Joe to be hot, fresh and caffeine potent! My Vente Pike was steaming hot, ultimate fresh and tasted great! The company posted $0.62 in Earnings per Share for their fiscal fourth quarter, ended October 1, 2018, which was above consensus expectations, and indicated stronger-than-expected sales. I believe this trend should continue in the current quarter, which should be boosted by recently announced Holiday drinks. The long anticipated announcement of its “Pumpkin Spice Latte” and introduction to the new Holiday drinks every year tends to be a positive sign that speaks well for a strong showing in the current quarter. It’s an exciting time and the most important Season for Starbucks. Attractive growth prospects in the USA and around the globe continue to be reflected in the superlative service and quality to be found in every drink served!🌙😄🔮 Quarterly earnings came in at $0.60 per share, a penny below my prognostication of 0.61 per share, but four cents higher than the consensus estimate. I attribute my accuracy to tuning into Starbucks, and keeping my index finger on the pulse of recent news and financial results. As to tuning in, this depends on my hands on experience as a customer and commentator. Interesting that Groundhogs have been spotted along the US 460 Bypass. I think these animals are sensitive to recent average temperatures, and their being visible could correlate to people being out and about, as well. I use to frequent this specific location years ago and it was always pristine. Since living in Christiansburg I’m a regular at the N Franklin location. Just moved from Christiansburg to Blacksburg and UCB is right down the road. I rarely write reviews but, when you go somewhere everyday and spend decent money you just kinda expect your stuff to be right. I get every place has their days. So there’s 9/10 chance it’s going to be extremely busy and you’ll wait 30 minutes for mobile ordered coffee. It hardly tastes how it should and not to be funny but, how in the world do you mess up a mobile order? It’s all written out clearly, the ingredients or special requests. Mines been messed up numerous times. It’s just frustrating because I do drink Starbucks daily and really enjoy it. But, not when it’s wrong more then it’s right. Sorry. I’ll only use UCB for desperate times. Otherwise I will drive from N Main to my N Franklin location. My ladies and fellas take care...

I mobile ordered my coffee order this morning and was delighted to be the only one in line, no one in front or behind. This particular Starbucks has a tightly configured parking and drive thru. I maneuvered to get out of the way of someone driving around the building and missed the order speaker. As someone who has a hearing disability, I find it difficult to hear there, anyway. Nonetheless, upon approaching the window, the cashier raised his voice to me and explained that there was a speaker box and that I was supposed to stop there. I replied that I knew, but there was another circumstance. He took a tone and was angry. His coworker took it upon herself to let me know that my not stopping had messed up their drive thru "handle time", and that that wasn't ok.

It was rude, inconsiderate and demeaning. I will be turning in my longstanding gold card, saving my next $12, and avoiding...
