The store messed up our pickup order. We didn't open our sandwiches until we were home, across town, and there was not enough time to return before they closed for the night.
I called the store. The employee said I was wrong about the sandwich being incorrect because he personally made it and knew it was made right. He was in fact argumentative with me about it. It wasn't until after I read the receipt to him and pointed out the toppings he was referring to went on another sandwich that he admitted he messed it up. He then went on to refuse to issue a refund and provided very poor service. I asked for a manager to call me back the next day. That was August 3rd and I never received that call.
I submitted feedback directly to Subway requesting a refund. No response. I submitted a second feedback directly to Subway. What I got in return was a response from Scott Hillyard "Franchisee" who not only refused to issue a refund but even implied I was just trying to get something for free because "everyone was trying to get something for free right now" - seriously!!?? I told him I wasn't interested in free food from his store and wanted a refund. He refused. His business took payment for food that I didn't receive and he refuses to refund that payment.
All I can say is I can see why the employee's customer service was so bad, he was obviously trained based on the same values as the owner - that everyone just wants something for free and doesn't deserve to be treated like a...

They said they did away with them because the people who didn't like them outnumbered the people who did, whatever. I thought it was cool technology, I wish people weren't so afraid of technology.
It's be much easier if all fast food had that.
The workers here are generally college students and are generally good overall.
However a few times I've had to wait close to 30 minutes for my food when the line gets over 15 people and there is often a shortage of workers (usually just 2 or 3). During the fall and spring this often happens since there is an influx of college students at the Math Emporium across the St. Just...
