Came in after a funeral yesterday- we came as a large party of 9 without reservation because our initial buffet plans fell through. We decided to go here as I wanted to try this new place. As I had expected, we were received at the front without much enthusiasm or warmth by the front staff because large party without a reservation. (Sorry for barging in without notice.) They could have at least faked a smile. I would have still appreciated it. This feeling of being unwelcomed was redeemed by our wonderful server (sorry I forgot your name!) She was patient and bright with interactions with us at the same time. Thank you! Food was great, I loved my country style rigatoni. My issue is with my Cooper’s Hawk Margarita. It was good but I think the alcohol content was very minimal. I drank two of it and never had I felt tipsy at all and I always feel slightly woozy after a serving of margarita. I felt cheated. Be mindful of their drinks.

It was my first time here and I loved it, first the service was excellent, we tried a passion fruit wine that was INCREDIBLE, my god how delicious! To start we ordered sweet chili calamari that were DIVINE!!! They were so delicious that I didn't have time to take pictures jajajajaj, and to eat I ordered gnocchi carbonara which was delicious, my boyfriend ordered the prime churrasco grilled steak with potatoes and it was perfectly cooked, divine too, and our friends ordered gnocchi alla vodka (spectacular) and the roasted chicken risotto which was very normal, nothing out of this world. When I come back again I would 100000% order the passion fruit wine again, calamari, both gnocchi because they were delicious and the churrasco, but I would not order the risotto.

Prices don't reflect the food at all 34 dollars for a tiny grouper, a sad amount of vegetables that were dried out, even a dried out lemon...as a cook myself, it's just disappointing. Forgot to mention there was hair in the water when they served it to us. Someone else got a chocolate cake to go, and in the middle of that cake was a very long hair. The food runners brought out the wrong order to one of us, then had a manager come up to say they had to remake the dish because someone dropped their order in the back. After the food came out much later, the bill showed the wrong order that came out was voided. Which just shows it was never dropped, they just messed up the order which is fine...not sure why they lied lol. Brussel sprouts were fantastic though

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your establishment, particularly with the service I received at the bar.

From the outset, I was met with inattentiveness from Jack, the bartender. Not only did he fail to address my needs, but his behavior came across as discriminatory and disrespectful. Each time I made a request, he dismissed me, treating me as if I wasn’t a valued guest. His body language was hostile—slamming containers on the backsplash and glaring at me aggressively, as though I were inconveniencing him. When I inquired about the espresso martini being made with real espresso, he gave me a condescending look, making me feel wrong for simply asking for clarification on the ingredients. It was evident that Jack had no interest in providing quality service.

The situation worsened when a new staff member, a chubby man (I’m using this description as I don’t know his name), joined Jack behind the bar on February 2nd, 2025. As I was eating my fish sandwich, this staff member repeatedly stared at me. When I made eye contact with him, it seemed to make him uncomfortable, but the entire situation made me feel awkward and uneasy. As a man, it’s never acceptable to be stared at while eating in this manner. It left me feeling uncomfortable and disturbed, and I can’t help but say that this behavior was out of place and unnecessary.

In addition to the uncomfortable atmosphere, the service was lacking in many areas. I ordered a fish sandwich with cheese, extra mayo, and avocado, but my order was wrong. To make matters worse, the staff behind the bar laughed it off as if it were a joke. When I attempted to purchase a magnum bottle of wine (not a double magnum), they misunderstood my request and offered me a sample instead, despite me clearly stating that I wanted to drink the wine at the bar while watching a basketball game. When I pointed out that it was uncommon for customers to purchase that size bottle, I was told it was unusual, and I responded by saying that as a paying customer, the size of the bottle should not matter.

The entire experience was frustrating, and I’ve never encountered such poor service in any dining establishment. What upset me the most was the lack of care or concern shown by the staff, even after I raised my issues. It felt as though my concerns were dismissed, and I was treated unfairly as a paying customer. Despite the manager’s attempt to resolve the situation, the overall service was subpar, and I left feeling disrespected, uncomfortable, and frustrated.

I strongly urge management to look into this matter, as your brand is being tarnished by this level of service. If improvements are not made, I fear that other customers may experience similar dissatisfaction. I will not be returning to this location, and I will advise others to be cautious when visiting.

Thank you for taking the time to read this feedback. I hope it can serve as an opportunity for...

Single handedly one of the top 3 worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant in my life. I’ve been a wine club member and Coopers Hawk patron for as long as I can remember and this was my first & only experience at the Bloomingdale location. It was an absolute disaster from start to finish. To keep this from being long winded, I’ll bullet it:

  1. Reservation was at 5:30, didn’t get seated until 5:50 (fine, I get it’s Mother’s Day weekend)
  2. 15 minutes until we had a server first get to our table as she was double sat with two large parties
  3. over an hour until we got appetizers
  4. forgot soft drinks
  5. was told by kitchen they were not accepting substitutions for sides as they were backed up and it was a busy Saturday night
  6. two hours until we get our food; mind you, we ordered as soon as we could’ve and as soon as we got the opportunity to do so
  7. both orders of medallions looked and tasted like they were dried out and stuck in a microwave on repeat. Medium looked like Well and dried out.
  8. manager advised they’d comp us our wine, they never did when they check came and we had to ask if they were going to
  9. manager came by and patronized my wife by telling her they’d also comp us a bottle of wine and asked my wife what type of “mommy juice” she’d want….
  10. forgot to ever pick up my check
  11. comped us a dessert and forgot to bring us the dessert
  12. spoke to the manager two times and both times she was never accountable for anything and instead deflected and came up with excuses.)

Server was super empathetic and apologetic. We really felt sorry for her as it felt like she was put in an impossible position. Everyone else in that restaurant acted like this was their first evening working at a restaurant.

You know it’s bad when other workers at the restaurant encouraged us to write a review about tonight and we were also seeing other patrons having similar experiences

Will continue to be a patron at Cooper’s Hawk, but never again at...

We visited this location at 1pm on Sunday for our anniversary. We live very close to another location but decided to try this new location out. Ample parking was nice. The hostesses were very upbeat and nice. The interior is gorgeous. We were seated and ordered drinks and an appetizer. Someone besides the waiter delivered our app and drinks. The waiter came back after we finished the app for our lunch order. That was the last time we ever saw him at our table. The stack of menus and empty plates stayed stacked on the table. Our glasses remained empty until a Manager asked if we wanted refills. We ordered the same thing twice and received two different drinks...luckily they were both good. Finally, someone came to get the empty plates and menus before our entrees arrived. Someone else delicvered the entrees. The food was amazing....which was a good thing since we never saw our waiter again. We did see him spending lots of time at the table next to us since he knew those people. There was a table of 5 ladies across from us. He never came back to them either, and they had to get their check from a manager. One of those ladies asked for a drink refill three times and never got it. Another one of his tables, he didn't serve their beverages for 25 minutes. Finally, someone asked if we wanted a dessert menu. I asked to have my leftovers wrapped, and a box was tossed at me. We had to get the check from a manager who apologized since they were new and were working out the kinks. I understand that they are new, but this server is perhaps not right for this restaurant. By the time we were leaving, they had taken another one of his tables away and had assigned a new server. I'm still trying to figure out why my husband left the server a 25% tip! We might try it again in a couple of months, but if I see that server again, I will run...
