My experience was not great, but the people here do try hard to make it right. Visited 5.5.2020, order was 50% wrong/missing. Waited 65 minutes for first part of order, then returned and waited another 25 minutes to be able to get help in fixing my order, then another 20 minutes for the order to come out wrong again.
To the owner: When everyone is doing every job, nothing is going well. I get today was probably your busiest day, but leadership was missing and it showed in the faces of your customers.
I would instruct the cashier to stay at the register and to stay off the phone (until her line of customers is gone, then be free to help out in other areas). The cashier needs to direct waiting customers to the outside of the store, to make way for your many delivery service persons to travel in/out. The customer needs to be the cashiers main focus until all have been serviced.
I would instruct the lady in the jean jacket that calls out orders that are ready, to stay out of the kitchen area, since she is clearly clueless back there. Why else would she pick up and reread the margarita bottle 4 times? They are all the same. Instead she needs to maintain separate lines outside of the store, by groups of 1. Already ordered and waiting for order to be ready. 2. Waiting to go in and order. 3. Delivery people waiting for their order to come up, and any other category.
I would also make sure to have the staff bringing ready orders up to the front, be sure to let jean jacket woman know the name of order thats ready. His job should be to ensure that all ticket items are accounted for.
Given how busy the phones were, you definately need a dedicated phone person, AND a call waiting message, stating where customers can place orders.
As the owner, manager, or shift leader, take a sample of waiting customers and ask for feedback on anything about their experience they see might need improving. Taking the time to address and fix these concerns will help you in more ways than you might think. It tells customers that this place appreciates their customers, and likewise your customers will be return customers for sure.
Yes, you have great food, but in reality there are 50 other places with great food too. The key is bringing back these customers.
If everyone is doing their part, it will free you up to provide help in an area that needs it most. Don't forget to check back in 10 minutes, after lending a hand. You run a fast paced establishment and its key to build relationships with your customers.
I hope you find this and if it helps you even just a little bit then good for you.

Read moreApproximately, 5 years ago I ate at La Campana for the first time and the food was below average. I gave it another try a few months ago and the food had improved. I went back a second time and the food was good, but something happened yesterday went ate there with my girlfriend. Let's start with the Zapata soup. OMG! what happened to adding some veggies to the soup. The soup had chicken and rice and had no flavor. It was accompanied with saltine crackers. This should of been my first sign that my dinner was going to be a disaster. My girlfriend and I decided to share a meal so we ordered "Mar y Tierra" this meal comes with rice, 3 breaded shrimp, fried round potatoes and a steak. We seen some plates come out of the kitchen with plenty of food; so we were excited. The plate arrived to our table and I couldn't believe what I seen and tasted. The amount of food for a twenty something dollar charge was minimal at best. The rice was not cooked properly, because it was hard, dry and cold. The steak was cooked medium well and I asked for it to be cooked medium. The size of the steak was very small it would barely satisfy one person imagine feeding two people. The fried round potatoes were cold, soggy, and greasy it was disappointing. The service was poor, because once we ordered and received the food we didn't see the server until we finished eating what was eatable. He spoke so soft we couldn't understand what he was saying and when we told him that we weren't satisfied with our meal he didn't react. A few minutes later he asked if we want another plate of rice. I looked at him like he was crazy. Why would I want to order rice that's probably sitting in a cold pot. This is just a comment please stop using orange cheese on Mexican dishes. It's an insult to Mexican cuisine.
Wrong response owner!!! I didn't use foul language with the server. As a matter a fact I was super nice to the server and I tipped him 20% percent, because I know it wasn't his fault. I have no idea who you're thinking I was that day? Your food was subpar and just own the that fact; instead of making false accusations of what I said to the server. If this is the way you respond to your customers who are honest of the food you serve then why would I ever want to eat...

I never write reviews, but my experience just terrible. This was my first visit and unfortunately, it was such a bad experience that I felt compelled to say something.
I walked in just to see how long it would take to make a steak burrito. The waiter told me it would be 5–10 minutes and asked me to have a seat. That was fine. But after that, things went downhill fast.
I waited for the waiter to return so I could customize my order or maybe add something else. He never came back. I even tried waving to get his attention he looked right at me and ignored me.
Eventually, he brought out my burrito. I asked if I could get it to go, and his response was a smirk, almost like he was annoyed. I then asked for sour cream, salsa, and whether the burrito included tomatoes (since I don’t like them). Instead of helping me properly, he kept walking away mid-conversation, forcing me to call him back multiple times just to finish a simple request.
By that point, I had decided not to leave a tip. The service was just that bad.
To make things worse, when I got to my car and pulled out the food, the salsa container hadn’t been sealed properly. It spilled all over the food container and ripped the to go bad and spilled in my my car.
I was so frustrated, I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, Virginia when I wasn't even going to call in the first place until the unsealed salsa container made such a big mess. Thankfully, she was respectful, listened to my complaint, and offered to compensate me on my next visit. I appreciated that.
But after cleaning the mess in my car and reflecting on the whole experience, I realized I really don’t want to go back. It’s such a shame, because the food actually tasted good. I love Mexican food but no dish is worth being...
