Went to celebrate 2 birthdays. When I made the reservation, they asked if there was anything we were celebrating. At that point, they asked for their desert preferences. I didn't even have to remind the waitress. We ordered appetizers of toasted ravioli and calamari. The calamari was cooked perfectly but theboutside could have been a little more crunchy. The ravioli was outstanding! My sister in law cried she was so surprised! My husband ordered the building your own. He had spaghetti and shrimp in a marinara sauce. He enjoyed it and finished the whole thing. Both my brother in law and sister in law had the shrimp with angel hair pasta with asparagus. That was absolutely delicious! I had the chicken Margherita. It was a very generous portion of 2 chicken breasts with melted mozzarella cheese with cherry tomatoes. I took a side of asparagus instead of the broccoli. I liked it but didn't love it. The chicken was slightly over cooked and I have to say a little bland. If iindid get it again, I would get a side of angel hair pasta. The deserts were outstanding! We got chocolate mouse cheese cake and the strawberry shortcake. I've never had a more moist shortcake. We got the to go meals at $6 each. I frozen one, and we are going to have one this week. Lucy was our waitress, and she was very attentive and paid attention to detail! It was a very nice night out, and I think the first time since Covid we were in a restaurant with my brother in law and sister in law. It was crowded, but it didn't seem like it once seated. Overall a very...
Read moreI came here with the family for dinner on a week night. I have been dining at this location for the past 2 decades and this will be my last visit. The service was awful and the food is so overpriced. We ordered a few appetizers and the lady that brought them out basically dropped them onto the table. She didn't even bother to spread the food out. She put everything on one end of the table. She did the same with the plates, loudly dropping them on one end and we passed them around. And I know I'm nitpicking but from a food safety standpoint, it's not wise to be working around food when you have extremely long artificial nails with embellishments. Our waiter was also not paying attention. We'd try to flag him down while walking past our table and he wouldn't hear or see us. There were no customers around us or loud music playing so why did this happen several times? He never came around to refill the water glasses. He did the same thing the other other lady did where he stood on one end of the table and we passed the food down. A bowl of salad is one thing but one family member had ordered soup. Those bowls are hot and instead of taking 2 steps to put it down on the table in front of her, he handed it to the person sitting closest to him and we passed it down. The food itself was mediocre. I don't expect an authentic gourmet meal from Olive Garden but when you're paying $20 for a plate of pasta, it should be someone decent.
Overall, I'd recommend skipping this restaurant and dining at a local Italian restaurant. It'll cost you the same but it'll be a...
Read moreWorst experience ever. I decided to go to one of my favorite restaurants...here for my 30th Birthday. I went with my mom and my 2 young children. I wanted a glass of wine but realized I had just renewed my ID a few days ago and had given me a temp one. I accidentally left it at home because well I'm human and we tend to forget things. Let alone Its already hard to even get the kids out the house so yes I forgot my temp ID. Well anyways...I was told that my ID was expired and that I couldn't get served any alcohol even though My old ID which I had with me stated It was in fact my birthday and all I wanted was a glass of wine. Ok so then I was getting upset because My bday was already not going well. So I asked to speak to a manager and I explained to him the situation. He then said that they have stricter laws or something along those lines so he couldn't serve me any alcohol. Alright well I just needed to relax a little was now past that...I didn't even want alcohol anymore so I just said ok and the manager seemed upset and just walked away from me. It was plain rude. At that point I just wanted to walk out and leave but my kids were hungry and so was I so I stayed to eat. Wished myself a Happy Birthday and escorted myself out once I finished paying the bill and even tipped the server because he did his job well. Not once did the Manager wish me a Happy bday or try to make me happy...I do not recommend coming...
