I am not one to leave reviews but what I saw today shocked me and my husband. We witnessed a young lady returning a pair of shoes while being attacked by both the store clerk and a customer who seemed to be overly friendly with both the Hispanic clerk and the store manager who wore a head scarf who stood the entire time and watched as the the young lady was harassed while trying to make a return I heard her tell the young lady that the way the Hispanic clerk spoke to her which she said she loud n clear she did not give a f* Flat out loud when the young lady told her she only wanted to get the refund and leave and she kept telling her she’s only returning her refund because the manager allowed it otherwise she wouldn’t give her the money back and she kept laughing at her and making a joke of her and disregarding her being a customer and the manager said nothing to her instead she told the customer she acted like that only due to stress as if it was ok to mistreat a customer then when the young lady was walking out the store the other customer harnessed her and wanted to fight the young lady and the manager lady stood there and watched and did not call the police lord half mercy on these people she even told the customers husband who’s wife who wanted the fight the young lady to call Corp and tell the the young lady is a liar if she reports them and I hope someone higher then both of those women sees this and does something about because we won’t be returning to this store after seeing the way they treat customers for their own hard...
Read moreThe staff and manager abruptly closed the store 30 minutes early! The manager announced over the intercom for all staff to escort customers to the front for checkout. It was uncomfortable to be approached by a staff member 30 minutes before closing while my family was still shopping. They literally rushed everyone out, repeatedly calling it out on the intercom. Even as I approached the front, I saw customers trying to enter the store, but they were refused entry 20 minutes before closing. Every customer was upset that their shopping experience had been abruptly cut short and rudely interrupted. The store closed at 10 pm. I understand that closing 10 minutes early is reasonable, but not 30 minutes! I’ve worked in the retail and restaurant industries for years and have never experienced such a rush to leave customers 30 minutes, 20 minutes, or even 15 minutes before closing. I spent $200 and was still looking to buy more items until I was rushed to leave. When I checked out, the staff was unfriendly and only focused on getting everyone out because their manager was ordering them to do so in front of customers. I’ve been a loyal customer of Ross for many years and have never encountered this level of treatment. I’ve walked into Ross 15 minutes before closing without being rushed to leave. I need an explanation for this incident and want to know if this is how you’ll manage your stores in the future so that I can plan my shopping trips accordingly to avoid being rushed out. Thank you for your attention to...
Read moreI love this store, I come here way too often, but lately the service has been really bad. Last Sunday, I was in the check out line for literally an hour. The line kept on getting longer. They only had 1 regular cashier and a returns cashier. On a Sunday evening people need to get home to get prepared for the work week. It usually takes an hour+ to browse through the store for deals. They never have shopping carts available. They are usually scattered around the exit door. The previous security guards used to bring them back to the entrance area. I was there again today and the same mess from Sunday was still there, wrong size shoes and clothes in the wrong size sections. Things on the floors in the aisles. It makes it harder to shop. Also I noticed people keep leaving their things in the check out line because the wait is so long with 1 cashier. They change their minds about buying stuff or they leave. Today I was here during my work lunch hour and there was a long wait again and 1 normal cashier. The security guard was standing around while there were no carts again, they were near the exit. 10 ft from the security guard, but I guess it's "not his job". Several people were carrying as much as they could in their hands and dropping items. They need to either hire more people or be...
