My friends and I went there late the other night and I had used a code and also ordered a drink. When we got up to the second window they only handed me a drink then closed the window so I thought maybe my food wasn’t done yet so I waited at the window for a bit. Then the girl in the window came back around and in a rude fashion said “can I help you?” So then I politely proceeded to explain I used a code to get food and I didn’t receive it. Then the manager came up and said “there was no code/ food ordered you’ll have to go back around to order” so then I processed to show her on the app that I had in fact used my code and she then proceeded to say “ that was just for points, as I just said you’re going to have to go back around to order.” Then proceeded to shut the window on me and walk off. Even though there were two other people in the car to vouch for the fact I did indeed order a sandwich using my points (with the sand which code) and didn’t just give them my regular code to earn points. Anyways I just went ahead and went back around cause I’m not one to make much of a scene and I don’t like conflict but I have never had more rude customer service in my life. We were nothing but nice, I just didn’t want to have go back around and wait in line again/use up my points for a sandwich I never received knowing that I did everything I was supposed to do. If it was a mistake of mine I would’ve had no problem pulling back around but clearly something had went wrong on their end and I was just trying to get it figured out. I get work sucks but I am a CNA who has had 60+ patients at once and I also have worked in food service myself and I have never treated anyone who was being nothing but nice like that...
Read moreStopped by late Saturday, early Sunday and was "kicked out" of the drive thru lane. First of all, I am (temporarily) deaf in my right ear and have hearing loss in my left - waiting surgery to fix, I only say that because it is a starting point. My solution is to commonly repeat instructions back, or parts of conversation to make sure I have picked up everything. We arrive at the speaker box, and aren't quite fully level but the employee starts speaking. I ask for a repeat, and am told they can only take cash - and repeat it back, the employee confirms. At this point I check for cash, say "that is okay" and proceed with my order. However, I am stopped and told to wait my turn - again, I repeat it because being next to the speaker I thought it was my turn. At this point another employee cuts in and yells at me to wait my turn, so I reply "I am trying to get this straight, I can only pay cash, and have to wait my turn - however it is NOT my turn, yet, is that correct?" and she kicked me out of line - I was honestly shocked, so I tried to speak to her again and was interrupted with a "Bye, Bye now" over and over until I pulled out of line.
At no time did I swear, yell or make any off color remarks. Rather than even being given a choice to explain, all I had was rudeness thrown in my face. I understand that things can go wrong - and apparently a computer system going down is definitely an example. I was will to "wait my turn", just confused by someone talking to me via the speaker box then yelling it was not my turn. I was not prepared to have employees frustrations taken out on me, and if they are ill equipped to handle stressful situations then they probably should not be dealing with...
Read moreI’ve had it!!! McDonald’s has become a joke. Why is it acceptable to have my burger covered top and bottom, on the outside of my bun with condiments??? I’ve done your job. On 4 separate occasions, and it’s not hard. Not at all. The sad truth is that I don’t even like the food anymore. It’s what I end up eating when I’ve been too busy to cook, or it’s too late. After I work hard all day at my job, to give you my hard earned money at a bigger salary than I received earning it.. and time and again just dismiss the poor quality, the missing items, cold food.. all while it’s getting on my face, hands, hair and everywhere else… but wait… here it comes, then find that there are no napkins given either!!! Wow people. I’m at a loss. Let me climb out of my post surgery, supposed bed rest to clean up this mess, toss the half eaten burger in the trash because it tastes disgusting… and just repeat over and over. Nope!! I’m not letting this go. Anyone else on board? Let’s start a riot. We need to start holding people and businesses accountable. This has gone too far.
