I usually love this location, but last night really ruined it for me :( my boyfriend and I ordered our burgers as lettuce wraps. The cashier rudely said, "that's hardly a burger." Like okay? That commentary wasn't necessary. I asked if he needed a signature on the receipt because it had a signature line and he told me no like I was stupid. We got our receipt and our drink cup and went to sit down. The ice machine did not work. Our order took almost 20 minutes to come out when there was only one other group of two waiting for their food. So just to clarify, we ordered lettuce wraps and every time we've done this it comes as a burger wrapped in lettuce (obviously). This time it came in a tin box with one piece of lettuce. Our toppings were put on the bottom of the tin, underneath the burger. I ordered raw onions, but was given sautéed onions. We both asked for mayo on our burgers and it came on the side. It was incredibly hard to eat, the burgers were dry, and didn't have the right toppings. I've worked in both fast food and retail and I get that it can get hectic, but this was just sad. Rude cashier and getting our orders wrong was enough for me to not want to come here again. I'll will be going to the other Five Guys on Milwaukee...
Read moreGreat spot in the heart of BODO to grab a burger and fries! The biggest issue you will run into will almost certainly be parking (if you're ordering for pick-up). There isn't much street parking right next to the restaurant, and what parking there is usually is full and stays that way. There is a parking garage just next door, but if the plan is to duck in, grab your food and go... parking garages slow the whole process down.
The burgers and fries have always been great when we have eaten in or gotten food to go. Word to the wise, the "Little" burgers aren't that little, they just have a single patty. The regular burger's have two patties. I find the "little" burgers to be just fine portion wise and in an effort to avoid excess calories call it good with that and a few fries. For our family of 4 we usually order 4 "little" cheese burgers and 1 large fry. That seems to be just the right amount of food to keep...
Read moreHonestly I came in with an open mind to try Five Guys for the 1st time. I am a true In-N-Out Burger fan never had a bad burger at any location and with the report that Five Guys was voted better burger this last year I had to try it. NOT Impressed!!!!! The burger was super cold except for the meat. The bun was cold and soggy, all the toppings were cold, the cheese wasn't even melted just Kraft America cheese just thrown on a cold burger - GROSS!!!! The fries were WAY overdone and had to much salt. We got (2) cheeseburgers, (1) Lg Fry, and (2) Reg. sodas and it was over $25.00 YIKES!!! I could have gone to Burger King and spent 1/2 the money and got a better burger. Don't waste your money here. In-N-Out Burger will always be...
