📍the Hemlock 🍸we got a VIP invite to the soft launch of Boise's newest must-try steakhouse! Here's the tea 👇 . Our exclusive sneak peek of Hemlock has me already dying to go back and try the rest of the menu. The food was incredible (and seed oil free!) AND they had multiple vegan and gluten free options, making this truly a place with something for everyone in the group. I was blown away by the attention to detail, the craftsmanship and the artistry the staff brought to this meal. Every dish was perfect and felt like an indulgent moment of its own. I only wish I could have tried the steak tartar, but they were out already when I ordered 😭 next time! Oh yeah and I need to try dessert too! . What we ate from the Hemlock menu: ✨Drinks (of course😘) ✨Bread service (twice!) DO NOT SKIP the bread it was insane! The absolute best dinner roll I have ever had, anywhere. I would come here just for the dinner rolls 🤤 ✨Gaucho meatballs w/chimichurri - do yourself a favor and put the chimichurri on everything. Especially the bread. ✨Chicken fried lobster tail + creme fraiche ranch - I can't even. This was an absolute showstopper. The texture and crunch were phenomenal. ✨American Wagyu Beef New York strip - phenomenal. Cooked perfectly and needed nothing on top at all. Amazing steak. ✨Miso-marinated Alaskan black cod w/sunchoke puree - I will absolutely be having this again 🤩 the fish melted on your tongue! ✨Char-grilled broccoli w/cashew sauce (vegan!) - obsessed with the cashew sauce! ✨Locally foraged mushrooms in a brown butter sauce - as a side to the Ribeye this was perfect 👌(also good on the bread...) ✨Four-cheese boursin shells and cheese - leftovers didn't even make it home! We ate it out of the box on the drive 🤤 and yes, we definitely had some with the leftover dinner rolls as a dip! . Thank you to the Inn at 500 for inviting me to try the Hemlock! Downtown Boise is already amazing, but this definitely raises the bar to a whole new level.
