Boise Centre — Attraction in Boise

This is a very late but extremely well deserved review for our Employee Appreciation Gala at the Boise Center in January. The room was the perfect size, food was delicious, and the communication from the staff was exceptional from beginning to end. The reason it took me so long to write this is because I had to give a special shout out to Ashlyn Maller (who's name I did not know until I ran into her at another recent event). Ashlyn was part of the event staff the night of our gala and provided the most exceptional customer service. When we asked for things out of her scope of expertise such as AV, reorgnizing the room, and whatever else we had requested, she went out of her way to figure it out or track down the right person for us. Mid-sized convention center located on the corner of N 9th St x W Front St. They are centered around a courtyard, The Grove Plaza, that has a fountain and a handful of restaurants. A concourse overlooking the courtyard connects the east and west wing of the building.

I attend events hosted here almost every year. Everything is alright - staff and service, food, facilities, rooms. Some things look outdated like their carpets. There's also not a lot of areas to work privately outside of their designated rooms either. Not sure if it's us or them but there are also always technical issues. Their restrooms, however, are very clean and nice - nicer than their conference rooms!

As an event designer, Boise Centre is one of my favorite places to work! The easy access loading dock of West is unmatched and their staff are incredibly collaborative throughout the planning process and installation. We appreciate their thoroughness in creating floorplans, their excitement for trying new ideas, and their willingness to jump in and help whenever needed! The staff is friendly and the venue can host a large guest count with multiple spaces to accommodate any event's needs.
