My husband and I were looking for a wedding ring, for me, without a lot of success. I don't care for traditional wedding ring styles and so many jewelry stores we went to seemed to be more of the 'same'. My husband found this store and it was hard to pull yourself away from one display case to the next. There are so many unique and beautiful pieces of jewelry & art to look at. We ended up picking a ring out of the Real Steel collection, the Owner's personal work. Barbara & her staff put a lot of genuine effort into helping us find exactly the right ring, stone, and size. I've been shopping at this store since 2013 and R. Grey Gallery is the best jewelry store in downtown and the Boise, Idaho area. After visiting all of the stores in the Boise area, I realized that finding a good jewelry store was not an easy task in Boise, so I am glad that I found this hidden gem. Their staff is super helpful, and I always leave this place with a smile on my face. The artwork in this shop is beautiful and one of a kind. This family owned company gave me solid advice. They could have charged me the full $175 appraisal and gemography. They let me know, up front, what the cost would be, and warned that it might not be worth the look. This is a sentimental piece. They still cleaned and checked the prongs to verify that I wouldn't lose my stone. I really appreciate that they didn't look down on me because this stone "is only" an Aqua Maurine.
