I have a very hard time eating out at restaurants. I can make just about anything better at home than I can find out and about. The Warehouse in downtown Boise is a very cool cafeteria type building with tons of eateries to choose from. Very cool atmosphere even if itâs not as busy as it seems like it should be. The shining star of the entire establishment is Anzalone pizza. The first thing youâll notice is a stunning wood fire grill that looks to be at least 6â in diameter. These guys are cranking out some of the best pizza I have ever had. Their 20â large is pushing 2â sometimes! A couple of times they have served us a pie with some good char on it, and both times they have offered to remake it for us. I told them I love some good charred spots on a wood fire pizza and itâs always perfect. Anzalone NEVER disappoints, but itâs super refreshing to know that if I didnât like my pizza for whatever reason they wouldnât even hesitate to make it right. Quality service, quality ingredients, quality final product. Their pizza sauce is so fresh tasting! One thing that can really ruin a pizza for me is a heavily concentrated, heavily spiced pizza sauce that overpowers the whole pie. And the crust, donât get me started on the crust! It is the perfect balance of crispy and chewy. It is literal perfection. If you canât decide which pizza to order, I cannot recommend THE COWBOY enough!! It is STELLAR. My wife loves the Margherita. They have really found a winning formula here at Anzalone Pizza and I will continue bringing my family here whenever we want a break from cooking for a night and still want high quality âza that honestly...
Read moreThis review is for the new Warehouse Food Hall location. Overall the pizza was good, a pretty hefty slice that somewhat justified the relatively high per-slice cost. The one thing I was confused about was their service procedure: I was the only person in line and the pizzas were all sitting sliced on the counter when I got there, yet they gave me a buzzer and it took 2 minutes before the person right next to the cashier rang the buzzer and gave me the slice of pizza that was there the whole time. It wasn't a long time to wait, just felt strange that they had such a logistically complicated procedure for what could have been a very simple transaction. I think it makes sense if you're super busy and/or backed up on orders, but if there are no other customers and the pizza is right there, don't make it more complicated than it needs to be. Overall a good experience though, the pizza...
Read moreAugust 30, 2025. This experience was mixed good and bad. First the bad. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza and the toppings were extremely scant. We ordered a 20 inch and the toppings might have been suitable for a personal sized pizza. Also, the crust in the middle was extremely thin but somehow doughy and under baked. Now, the good, The outside crust was thick and chewey. The few toppings were great quality, and the sauce was mellow but so much authentic tomato flavor...best I've ever had! The cheese gooey and full flavored. However, the overall experience was disappointing since it held so much promise. The pizza was a bit pricey for the shortfall. Corners were cut. We felt undervalued as a customer. Hopefully things will improve for them, but I don't think we will...
