Smoothie King — Restaurant in Bolingbrook

I have one very simple order that I always get. One peanut butter powder, plus smoothie, And I request to get extra oatmilk, and A double blend So that way, the smoothie is smooth and actually drinkable. I always ask very politely very calmly and very slowly With a smile on my face Because I know that even though it is a simple order, A newer employee might mess it up. But that did not happen today. Instead, I made my order just like I always do, And the cashier had the store manager make the smoothie. I went to the bathroom, but as I was coming out of the bathroom, I saw the cashier specifically telling the store manager exactly how I wanted it to prevent the smoothie from being hard as a rock. I wait for my smoothie and it comes out hard as a rock, I also noticed that she didn’t even put in oat milk as requested. Trying to be nice I ignored this and just ask if they could blend it one more time and add more oat milk so that way it could come out smooth. The manager rules her eyes and proceeds to hand the cup to another worker who very clearly adds water and then they serve it back to me, and it is still hard as a rock. So I tell them I would just like my money back, And the manager gets a big attitude and tells me “ If you wanted it smooth, you should’ve requested that” To which I Smirk and chuckle to myself As I tell her That I very clearly did. I will never be going back to this location. Hands down my favorite smoothie king all around. The consistency of my smoothie is always the same, the flavor always tastes the same. I always get a vegan mango kale with Greek yogurt and it's delicious every time I get it.

Had a recent incident with my smoothie not meeting my expectations but talking to one of the managers he was able to offer a replacement, since I couldn't even enjoy it (actually threw out the smoothie). This place just opened up a few minutes from my house so my wife and I figured we'd give it a try. Very neat and organized on the inside, and they had great music playing. We were greeted by a friendly staff when we walked in. It was cool to see that beyond smoothies, they also had other stand alone supplements and various fitness bars and powders you could buy.
