HAPPY LEMON - BONNEY LAKE — Restaurant in Bonney Lake

It always makes me a little nervous when a restaurant is labeled just "okay" on their little posted inspection sign. We popped in here because we were visiting the chiropractor next door so that is convenient but the parking here sucks. You almost have to park in the lot across the street. The setup is odd because where you line up to order/pay is where they have the garbage cans so when we were done, you have to go around people. It would have been better if they put it on the back wall. It is pretty small inside so you couldn't have it very big group here. There is also a small table and chairs outside but the cement is so reflective that it is pretty hard on the eyes. The puffle was VERY good though they gave us the wrong dip. I wish they had more selections for dips beyond the creams. A similar place we have been to that sold puffles had mango which was delicious. This is a small thing but I wish they didn't print out the order directly on the front of the puffle packaging. It's kind of like when you go to Starbucks and there are so many people they don't know who ordered what. They don't have very good descriptions of what the items are, so it's worth it popping onto your phone so you can see the menu better with pictures. For example, I didn't realize my drink had boba which isn't my favorite. Also my son's melon lemonade was really sour and had a slightly odd taste to it that we dumped it out when we got home. Next time we are going to do more research ahead of time...

Every time I come here, they get my drink wrong. It's a standard drink with 2 toppings. I've been here roughly 8 times and they always forget to add something, an inconvenience but not a problem. This last time tho they added jelly to my drink. I'm not a fan of jelly, it makes me nauseous. I let them know it was made wrong and they remade it for me. I told her what the drink was, that I asked for cheese foam, and that there wasn't supposed to be jelly in it. I didn't realise till we were on the road that the second drink still had jelly in it. We got home and I spent about 15mins trying to fish the jelly out of there without removing Boba or cheese foam. I got maybe half the jelly out when I realised I only had half a drink left. The jelly was pineapple flavoured which not only did not go with the drink but completely over powered it. I wound up throwing both drinks away. I'll still be coming here, but I guess from now on I'll stare at the screen to make sure it has everything I want and...

I am sooo happy we finally have a bubble tea shop in the neighborhood!! I can't believe the amount of customers they get even though they've just opened for 1 day. The lobby is always full. When I got there, the girl in front apologized and said they ran out of boba because they didn't expect so many people would come support and they were very thankful for it. While they were making more boba, she suggested me different toppings to get. I love the vibe and everyone's so energetic and lovely and seem to be having a great time even though they're super busy. Obviously everyone's still new and in training so they can be ready for grand opening so they're not quite up to speed yet, but that's to be expected from a new place.
