Stopped by here on a Monday evening with my family. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but it's appearance & atmosphere was spacious & pleasant with the blue lighting. Our waitress was nice but once we ordered, she disappeared for a very long time. We ordered our food at about 6:45pm & didn't get our food until about 8:10pm. The restaurant wasn't even full and our orders comprised mostly of appetizers as our entrées. About 4x orders of Boudin balls, 1x bbq shrimp, 4x dozen charboiled oysters; these take around 10 mins to make. The bbq shrimp was shrimp sitting in a bowl of gravy, not what you would think. The boudin balls were ok but I've had better. My wife says she would rather have oysters from the Oyster bar, Frank's pizza, or Pedro's. I ordered grilled shrimp alfredo. The Alfredo sauce was very bland, the noodles had already changed colors from sitting out or under a heat lamp & drying out, the shrimp tasted boiled than placed on a grill for grill marks. Out of all this food, the only thing i could visually see seasoning on was on my shrimp. We had crawfish etouffee, nothing special. Some garlic toast with crawfish on it, that was ok. Out of 6 of us dining, nobody was satisfied. My wife & I have ate at the Dragos in New Orleans & I didn't think they were good. So this establishment isn't too far off from the original.

Initially, we were going to go to a local/family owned restaurant, but Shreveport restaurants close early and it was a Friday night. I heard of Drago’s from visiting in New Orleans and wanted to try it and was excited there’s a location here. There was an all you can eat seafood special going on. Some tables left out with clusters still on the table, that should’ve been a red flag. It was towards the end of the ayce time window. we were not looking to partake. We waited about 30 minutes give or take for a table. It was seven of us so that’s understandable. The service was OK. As a former server myself, I wasn’t impressed, but it wasn’t horrible either. The food was flavorless. The food looks good, but it was very bland. I had to season my own food. as picture we ordered the spinach dip, boudin balls (not pictured), the crawfish bread, and the appetizer shrimp. For entrées: the lobster pasta, and the catfish basket. The best thing was the crawfish bread, it was saucy and full of crawfish. It wasn’t expensive. I’ve paid more for food, but it was not worth what we paid. I had to add salt, pepper and some lemon to give my pasta flavor. If I wanted to season my own food, I would have went to a Korean hot pot. Overall, I think it’s overhyped. I will be giving the franchise another chance when I go to New Orleans.

Drago’s was the best place to bring my family after my graduation at LSUS. The restaurant is located inside the Margaritaville, and it was beautiful from the entrance to the casinos and into the restaurant and very clean. The staff was great from the very beginning, from greeting us with a warm welcome and congratulating me for my accomplishment of graduating at the front desk to our waitress, who was excellent throughout our dinner. The food was amazing, and everything came out within minutes of ordering it, from the appetizers to the main course and dessert. This place had some of the best plates Louisiana has to offer, which was great because that’s exactly what we wanted after driving hours from the south of Texas to get to my ceremony. We were very appreciative of our waitress because we were a table of 14, and we didn’t wait much for anything. I highly recommend this place. It was AMAZING, fast, and clean. I’m happy I gave it a try. However, the ratings weren't that high but definitely a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me.

My husband and I have ate at the New Orleans location on numerous occasions. This location was extremely disappointing. The restaurant was not busy at all. The oysters were not charbroiled. They appeared to be only heated. The shells were NOT even hot.the boudin balls were ok. The crawfish bread was stale and not hot. There was no flavor on the dish. The mac n cheese was ok. The kicking chicken had zero flavor on it. The greens were from the can. The cornbread was cold. The alligator tacos were edible. Now, onto the staff. Our server was a decent server. She checked on us frequently and was pleasant. As far as the atmosphere in the restaurant, it was very unprofessional. There were 5-6 employees standing at the hostess station during our entire meal. They talked and laughed loudly from the time we walked in. There was also a group of employees standing approximately 6 feet from our table in plain view of the manager in the blue shirt. They were very rude and standing in the middle of the restaurant having a social time. There were several employees that came from the back with uniforms covered in flour and filth and joined in. This all took place in front of our table as we ate. The manager was sitting in the middle of the kitchen in a blue shirt. He witnessed all of this. He noticed us looking over at all of this and continued to be on his phone. At the end of the day, we will definitely not return. There are too many restaurants to chose from. The bill total was 129.09 for 2 people. The atmosphere does not come close to the ambiance of the New Orleans location. This location needs training on professionalism and restaurant etiquette. Everything that we observed can be corrected by management on site. He was not concerned however while on his phone. I am a certified mystery shopper. If I we’re shopping this location, they would have received a...

First off we made reservations for 7:00. Arrived on time and though there were several empty tables, our table "wasn't ready" for half an hour. Last time we went, we were told there would be all-you-can-eat crab "right before Mother's Day", so here we are the day before Mother's Day. The crab was last week. I had tried to call beforehand but there is no published number for Dragos and the hotel was less than helpful. We decided to eat anyway. Bad mistake!! Wife's salad had rotten lettuce in it. Sent it back. Came back with more rotten lettuce and a rotten tomato this time. Sent it back. Waiter talked her into subbing a cup of gumbo. Pure slime!! The okra had ben boiling in it for days. My friends shrimp pasta was shrimp and linguini last time. Changed it to shells this time. No notice of the change in the menu. It was basically mac and cheese. My fish was limp. The shrimp tasted funny and the list goes on and on. There were only five of us, and NOBODY was happy with their food. Bad management, bad service, bad food, and extremely overpriced. We won't be going back. And to top it off, I spent most of my night in the BATHROOM!!

Was just reading some of the other reviews it's AMAZING how many times the word "amazing" appears. It's like they can't think of any other word, like they are all written by the same person. Also this Ciera get's mentioned WAY to often. Recon' how much she pays for all the positive reviews. When the reviews are all either five star or one star and nothing in the middle, it gets kinda fishy to me!!

Update!! Just found a review where "Ciera" was "amazing", lol!! We really need to expand on our...

On September 16, 2023, my wife and I took our 17-year-old granddaughter to Drago's in Bossier City. We live only about 45 minutes away. We had been wanting to try this new restaurant, having eaten a couple of times at Drago's in New Orleans, but we were hesitant to try it due to so many negative reviews posted online. Plus, a few friends, who had been there, advised their experience was not good. Our granddaughter loves crab legs and the restaurant was offering an all-you-can-eat crab legs promotion, so we decided to give it a try.

We arrived and were promptly greeted and seated. Impressively, the manager took our drink order and delivered them. Our waitress, Tatyana, was fabulous and took great care of us. We started with a dozen chargrilled oysters. Although they were a bit small, the taste was very, very good. We also had an appetizer of fried alligator. I am not a big fan of alligator, but this was some of the best I have ever had. Our granddaughter, of course, ordered the crab legs, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Refills came right on time until she had her fill. My wife had the stuffed lobster, which she loved. I opted for a bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo, which was very good. We finished with creme brulee and coffee.

Overall, we were very pleasantly surprised by Drago's, Bossier City, especially considering all the negative reviews we had read and heard. Hopefully, this was just problems associated with a newly-opened restaurant. We plan to return and hope this business has continued...
