Absolutely love this place!! Plenty of free parking. Super clean, relaxing music, and great employees. Darrielle in particular, so pleasant, great personality and a beautiful smile. Me and my family have been eating at Newks since in opened. Every visit has always been exceptional. The food is always great. And they are always so kind to those who have served. Now my dad had served in the military for 30 years. We have always asked for military discount and have never had problems. This past visit, we showed the girl behind the counter our cards, then the manager came and asked us, “are you military?” She then proceeded to make my mom pull her card out again so she could see for herself. She then asked, “are you actually the one serving?”… I’m sorry but, whether you are actively serving or a spouse of someone serving in the military, you are still serving. Honestly, I love the food. It's always good, the service however is slow. I gave them several opportunities before leaving this review, but I would definitely not visit this place if you are on a time crunch. Three times now I have visited while on a lunch break only to have to return to work without having any time to eat. I understand that orders must be placed in advance, I worked serving tables for about 7 years, newks being one of my previous jobs, so I definitely know how stressful and demanding the job can be, however it took them 15 minutes to fill a Togo order of just a cup of soup.
