If you’re looking for a solid, dependable Italian spot with homemade food and generous portions- look no further!

Alfredo’s has a few locations and all of them are solid and do not disappoint. A huge menu of homemade pizzas, hot/cold sandwiches, appetizers, wings, pasta dinners, salads and so much more. The menu is massive and there is something for everyone.

I’ve eaten here multiple times via delivery. It always arrives packaged well, fresh, and piping hot. I’ve ordered everything from pasta, to lasagna, to sandwiches. Everything is solid. The portions are generous. A pasta dinner easily feeds two people. A homemade meatball sub easily can make two meals.

I will dive into a few of my favorites from Alfredo’s. First, the Homemade Meatball Parmigiana Sub. Generously sized homemade meatballs with sauce and cheese on a sub roll. Meatballs are moist and delicious, not dry like many places.

For pasta fans, the Chicken Piccata is phenomenal and is large enough for two. Pasta, chicken, capers, lemons, & artichokes in a wine garlic sauce. This is served over a generous portion of linguine.

The cheese lasagna is also another favorite. It is a huge order, easily would feed 2-3. I suggest a side order of meatballs to go with it. They include fresh baked dinner rolls to enjoy with it.

Being from Chicago, I’m big on pizza and wings. See, in Chicago deep dish is for tourists. We prefer thin crust. It’s a little known secret. Therefore, I absolutely love the pizza here. It is super thin, almost Neapolitan style. Quality ingredients and they don’t skimp. Always arrives hot and fresh.

The wings are also very tasty. They are different than what you’d get at some of the popular chain-style wing spots. These have a crispy breading and inside is hot and juicy. I got the regular chicken wings without sauce and they had plenty of flavor. They certainly are a different style wing, but still very good.

We ordered in for delivery and took advantage of the Medium Pizza deal that comes with wings or tenders (we did wings) and a 2-Liter of your choice. For $28 it’s a bit pricy, but the portion size more than makes up for it.

If you’re looking for a dependable, delicious, local Italian take-out/delivery spot you MUST give Alfredo’s a try. The menu is massive and there is something for every taste. I haven’t had a bad...

To reply: I'll put the facts out there - I made an order through GrubHub, the driver didn't deliver it, but marked it as delivered. I was staying at the Liberty hotel and confirmed with the concierge and 3 people at the front desk that no delivery arrived. I re-ordered, and contacted GrubHub customer service for a refund on the first order. While I was getting a refund someone from Alfredo's called me and SCREAMED at me how dare I cancel and take money out of their pocket and they wouldn't be re-making the food. Excuse me? Absolutely ridiculous. The issue was with the driver not delivering, take that up with GrubHub not the end customer. The audacity to call a customer in this situation is insane.

I never demanded free food, I had ALREADY PAID THROUGH GRUBHUB. TWICE. Whoever I was speaking to couldn't get that through their thick skull and still doesn't understand as you can see below. Imagine ordering from a restaurant and they call asking you to pay them after you've already paid through a 3rd party app. I could barely get a word in edgewise while whoever I spoke with screamed how I was causing them to lose money.

A driver not being able to deliver and then marking an order delivered is at best a mistake and at worst, fraudulent. While not the restaurant's fault, calling the end customer screaming and demanding an additional side payment is certainly not the solution. Perhaps Alfredo's should learn how...

Alfredo’s is the local Italian pizza place that keeps me coming back. I keep trying other place but they are never as good. The pizza, especially my favorite jalapeƱo & pepperoni, has that perfect blend of everything that is good about pizza, including the thin crust —it’s easily the best pizza in Southie. I’d also put it up against any pizza in the surrounding neighborhoods, including the North End.

The rest of the menu is great too. Their pasta is always al dente, the meatballs and sauce are delicious, and the steak & cheese is a go-to is always the same, never fatty and always good. Same for their pastrami sub. The Italian subs, steak tips, or chicken tenders, everything I've tried has been solid great.

The staff are always welcoming and easygoing. They are always accommodating and believe me I’m not easy.

I try other places but always go back to Alfredo’s. I would put their pizza up against any Italian pizza around. The jalapeƱo and pepperoni is my favorite! Everything I’ve ever had here is good. The pastas, the meatballs, the steak & cheese, Italian subs, steak tip dinner, chicken tenders… all great. You can’t go wrong with Alfredo’s. I really appreciate the staff who are always friendly and accommodating, and believe me I am not easy. Even the delivery...

The food was some of the best I’ve ever had in my life! The onion rings were amazing and the best I’ve ever had, the pasta was delicious, the tarter sauce was the best I’ve ever tasted and I’m a tarter sauce guru, the fried fisherman’s dinner was excellent! AND The most food for the prices! Most of the dishes were more than 2 people could eat! My daughter said the more she ate of the ziti Alfredo the better it tasted! Overall this is a must eat place and I highly recommend it! The Caesar wrap picture is after my wife ate and was full- it’s hard to explain how large it really is!

Decided to order out tonight since it’s Friday night. Decided on Alfredo’s because I seen they had a Steak tip salad. I’ve never had them before today, I should have listened to the other reviews because my food was HORRIBLE! Steak tip salad came hot, soggy and wilted… the steak was extremely odd. The steak was extremely red and soaked in a marinade that tasted like Chinese Spareribs. The steak was extremely sweet, undercooked, not sure if the salad was washed because I now have diarrhea. -100/10 would never order or eat from here again, even if it were free.
