The food was great. I love their 7 piece chicken. This time I got them with salad. My only issue was trying to call the order in for pickup. The guy had a very hard time taking the order, I do not k.ow if he was new, not a regular staff n just helping out or because English is not his 1st language but it was a bit much. Also, it would nice if their salad, which I thought did have the last time I prder a salad and in their menu photos, could have cucumbers in it. More than just lettuce and tomatoes...oh and eck, onions. Took those out. I do not remember onions being a part of the Salad but yeah...can the salad have cucumbers, please? The woman working behind the counter had an attitude issue for years. I had to put up with it, but last two times were awful. One time I tried to order but she ignored me eating her food, putting headphones on, she looked at me then she looked back at her phone like I was not there, I had to leave. The last time and it will be my last time at this shop, since I walked through the door she asked me what I wanted. I told her I still have not decided yet. Then she acted so rude, so angry with me. Even though I did have the food I was too worried to eat it, all what I thought what if she spit in it. I have no trust in her anymore. Too bad because the guys are nice but they do not work there...

I get my veteran healthcare at the VA hospital up the avenue in Jamaica Plain and after every visit, before my walk back to Brookline Village, I call ahead to Joseph's to order chicken parm subs. That's all I've ever ordered, because they are SO good I don't wanna try anything else. Very lovely service. This is a take-out place only, so there is no atmosphere to critique.
