TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE experience on a Sunday afternoon!! I cannot stress enough how uncomfortable I was being here and the way that I was treated by MOST IF NOT ALL OF THE STAFF INVOLVED!!!!
Someone there who is NOT apart of KGB security thought it was ok to put his HANDS on me. Instead of asking questions FIRST, he immediately approached my friend and I and began pushing up on me yelling and screaming at me and then using his hands to force me off of the dancefloor IN FRONT OF EVERYONE!!! I was completely embarrassed because I had no idea why he did that and I did not even get an explanation or an apology from this man after the fact so I tried to file a complaint at this establishment because I felt violated! I had NOTHING to do with WHATEVER situation he thought occured, and instead of asking questions this man decided to react by putting his hands on a female! Not ok. When it became clear I wasn't apart of what happened in the women's bathroom, I was only in there to use it. I still did NOT get an apology from this man. Instead he tried to justify his actions.
Their staff was extremely rude and continued to give me the run around the rest of the night. I was so frustrated and beyond disgusted with my experience I decided to post it online for everyone to read.
Hopefully this will get their attention, and open their eyes to a problem that needs to be addressed and fixed immediately!
There should be a policy in place that prevents male staff from walking into the womems bathroom or at least being accompanied by a female staff member and they should also consider hiring female security to prevent future...
Read moreKingston is the Station for dranks n snax. Get off the train now for truffle fries and boozy bevs.
Choo choo. Conduct yourself toward these fries STAT. The thick blanket of Gruyere really classes them up and mixes amazingly with the truffle oil, sea salt, and scallions. The amount of melty, gooey cheese is hefty, leaving few fries untouched. Just how I like it. A small order was enough to satisfy 4 salt-lovers.
Don't forget to visit this train's beverage cart! A solid selection of reasonably-priced beers on draft are available in 2 different sizes. And for cocktails, the Moscow Mule is a must-try, as the freshness of the ingredients and bartender's skill really shine through. A chunk of ginger graces the glass and combines flawlessly with the citrus! At $7 each, I feel like it's only right to order a few. It's a long trip, after all.
On this occasion, entrees were also ordered, which turned out to be a misstep in our journey. Salmon bahn mi. Sounds tasty and different and ethnic, right? The name should be revised to dry salmon patty on hamburger bun. For $18, this lackluster sandwich and sad side salad did not satisfy. The station burger was good on flavor, but very heavy, especially considering our cheese fries app. Skip it. There are far better food stops...
Read moreFood was not impressive, atmosphere was not impressive, prices were impressively high for what . Our server was very nice but other than that nothing about the place would draw me back. Maybe it is more of an after work happy hour type place, I don't know - it was my first (and last) time there for dinner. Calamari and their fries basket with cheese as apps - calamari was not very good and the cheese on the fries was one big melted ball that came right off of every fry when you picked it out of the basket. The burgers with the fried egg on them were good, but the scallops (4) with "summer vegetables" aka peas carrots and corn that looked EXACTLY like the kind you get frozen by Green Giant of which you only get enough to line the bottom of your 4 scallops was very disappointing - especially for the $25. The place just seemed amateur and rag tag. Even with the beers - the 16 ounce drafts were a better deal than the large 23 ounce drafts - why? I was very excited about trying this place and was...
