A small little bakery located on the outskirts of ChinaTown, this place has my most favorite Cakes. Whenever my family and I have a birthday, or special occasion, we will come here to order the cake. The cake is always very light with fresh fruit and the whip cream is super light and fresh, and not at all heavy and overly sweet. Their Char Sui Boas (Baked Chinese Pork Bun) are also one of my favorites especially if I come early in the morning, as they are just opening, and get a fresh hot one right out from the oven. The other is recommendation I can give is the Chinese egg tarts, they are have just the right custard to shell ratio and I love the texture they make it. The one thing that I feel is important to share to those who have never come here, I don’t believe they accept credit card. If they do, there must be a $10 minimum. I say this, because I have been her several times and have seen people try to give them a credit card to pay, and have been told, “No” so if you come, be sure to bring a few dollars to by these yummy...

I do wish they would do a cake where the sponge is taro in addition to the filling between the layers, but I haven't been able to find any bakery that does that in years. For nostalgia's sake, I would have preferred translucent red characters to the opaque characters they use, but neither of these things change how delicious...
Read moreMy cousin recently ordered their cake on the phone days in advance. When he arrived to pick up the cake, they didn't have his order and told them they never received his order. My cousin was pissed. I told him not to order there. Last time, I went there in person to order cake and I clearly told the cashier I want to order the $24 mixed fruit cake. She try to write down on the receipt I ordered the $29 mixed fruit cake. I confronted her on the spot and change the cost to $24 mixed fruit cake. This is extremely unprofessional. The cashier clearly understand every single word I say to her in Chinese and English. She still pretended she didn't understand and tried to...
