Papa Rino's Pizza — Restaurant in Boston

Absolutely horrible. I am not one to make online reviews, I’ve never had a reason to, but my experience here was unbelievable. I’ve ordered from here before and had no trouble. So naturally when I placed an online order around 7pm I wasn’t expecting an issue. We had requested two chicken finger dinners and received a call from the restaurant and were told that they had run out of chicken fingers. We substituted the order for a pizza and a sub of equivalent value and Jojo told us that she would rush our order and have it to us in 30 minutes. (We live half a mile from the location.) Flash forward two hours we finally get the food and it is missing the salad and order of spicy fries my gluten intolerant friend had ordered for her dinner. I called the store and asked for a refund and the manager told me that I didn’t order the salad or fries and even if I had, I received 90% of my order and I was trying to get a “win win” situation where I had received food and was trying to get it for free. I was then told the only way I could get my money back is if they sent their driver back to my home to collect the rest of the food. After refusing to give us our money back the manager finally realized their mistake and called us back to tell us we could get a refund. All of this could have been avoided beyond easily, but their unwillingness to accept any fault and readiness to argue and accuse their customers of trying to take money out of their pockets has lost a customer in me. My husband and I ordered a large bacon with green peppers pizza a couple of days ago. After eating the we both became very ill. Excruciating cramps along side with diarrhea. I’m was lucky I didn’t throw up as my husband is still dealing with a lot of discomfort. My husband called them to let them know what was happening and the gentleman became very short and didn’t have the time to hear what we had to say. Today my husband decided to walk over and try to talk to them and the same gentleman again was not interested or showed no care for him (customers). He continues to say how long he’s been working there and that it’s impossible that they gave us unsafe food. Our main concern was other customers and we just wanted to share what was happening so that no other customers would receive our fate. I guess customers have no right to want food that is safe to consume. I really liked their pizza and this was the first for us. The gentleman who had no time for us decided a slice of cheese pizza ( May I add it was terrible) would sufficient to feed grown adults. 😩☹️😡. My family and I order from her occasionally and the food is good, but I ordered from there this evening and the young lady that answered the phone to take my order was not very professional for one of my orders I asked for marinara sauce with a meal and she was like eww her phone skills are not that great and if she wants to show her disgust for simethics she thinks is disgusting she should keep it to her self or at least wait until rhe customer is off of the phone.
