Never did I think I would feel the need to write a review about a liquor store but this business deserves ALL the recognition. It's one of those special places that you don't realize you need until you find it. Shopping here over the years has completely changed my whole wine game. Its a smallish store but it's incredibly well curated. So, instead of endless isles of who knows what, you can be sure that anything you buy there will be great. Not only will you love what you bought, but you will have learned something and probably found something you never would have found on your own. They also have a large selection of natural wines and Pet Nats, which are my personal fave. The beer and cider selection is impressive and locally focused, and they also have a great, and again, curated selection of liquor. While you won't find every big brand here.. they will help you will find something you like more because what's especially amazing about this place is that employees really know the products. I have walked in countless times and told them what I'm cooking or where I'm going and they help me select the perfect item. They are also happy to special order all kinds of wines for you, which I have done several times. This is quite LITERALLY my favorite wine shop of all time. I have been coming here for about 3 years now and every single visit is extremely enjoyable! It's amazing to walk in and staff recognize you or even remember what you purchased/tried previously without even looking you up in their database! I completely trust the staff recommendations as I have yet to be stirred wrong when trying something new; when can you ever say something like that with confidence? Their knowledge and descriptions of each product is astounding and immensely impressive to say the least. Their wines selection is incredible and priced very well. Review December 6, 2021: I live near the Cambridge store but I happened to drop in this South Boston location. I had a great chat with Eileen who manages both stores, and she helped me pick out six wines in order to get the half case discount of 5%.

I think of this store as a great place to get knowledgeable advice from the staff, and choose wines that I wouldn’t otherwise find on my own wandering the isles at Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods. Or even just picking something randomly off the shelf of other small wine stores. What makes the difference is the curation and the selection of wines and the chance to chat with the staff and learn more about wines and what I like.
