Ordered food before they stop taking delivery orders at 10:30 as stated online on the website. The girl on the phone was nice and took the order right at 10:30 after being on hold for a couple of minutes. It was now 11:30 when I started to wonder where my food was since as a frequent customer I know they are much faster with their deliveries. I gave it until 11:45 to call to double check the delivery was still going to be made. An employee names "Mike" answered the phone and he said no delivery was placed under my name and address. He then asked if I was one of multiple numbers that were the last few orders of the night and I said no. He then tried to tell me I have the girl I ordered with the wrong number when she never asked for my number anyway and he stated I was a certain number that I am not and kept saying I gave her that number which is the first lie of many during our conversation on the phone. After Mike said I had never placed an order, he tried to say sorry there's nothing they can do tonight and kept verbally leading up to hanging up when I wanted to continue the conversation. I gave him the full details of the order and just wanted to know why it wasn't being delivered and he then proceeded to put me on hold for a minute and I could hear his conversation with another employee about recently voided transactions and deliveries. He picked the phone back up and said the delivery driver was at my building and that the driver was directed away and told by someone in front of the building that they had already gone and picked up their food. He also stated that the delivery driver "wouldn't lie"...That was lie number 3 from him already after he re-explained it and the story had changed to how someone at my residence answered the door and said the same thing. I politely kept asking how this could happen at 11:15 at night on a quiet side street in Quincy when all my neighbors are sleeping anyway and I live in a 2 family household( not something like an apartment building, etc.) I asked why I hadn't received a phone call or a knock at my door. Mike said they kept trying for a while at the door. And then left. So the story clearly switches up three times there alone. He started getting very verbal and loud spoken with me and lied to me multiple more times before saying how it's almost 12 and that there's nothing that will be done for me and blamed the whole situation on me saying I should learn how to order food and hung up on me... Unsure of his name and curious of the driver's name I called back instantly and he flipped out on me for asking his name and continued to yell at me on the phone when I asked to have a calm conversation for 1 more quick minute to get a name of his manager. He told me I won't call his manager or be able to and then hung up again. Long story short I'm excited to call tomorrow and talk to someone in a higher position about this and be sure to mention Mike's name since he rude, verbally abusive, and non...

I just had the absolute worst experience I think I’ve ever had with a restaurant. I called to place an order for delivery because I was sick. I ordered a steak tip Cesar salad wrap. The order came and my hubby came out and said “good luck with this”. It was a tortilla wrap with a salad on top. Steak tips, lettuce, cukes and Italian dressing. I called because I can not eat cukes so it ended up in the trash and wanted a refund. The very rude guy on the phone (which it seems from reviews that everyone has spoken to) said he could not give a refund. He argued that cukes come on every Cesar salad and if I can’t eat them I shouldn’t order Cesar salad. I said no place on this earth puts cukes on Cesar salad. I asked to speak to a manager and he came back and said the kitchen admitted the made a mistake and put cukes instead of croutons. I said ok you guys made a mistake this is not what I ordered you have to refund me he said no. I asked for the manager again and said “the manager approved the refund but you have to bring it back”. I explained it was in the trash but said I’d be glad to dig it out if he sent a driver to pick it up. He said no you have to come to the store. I explained I had COVID and that is why I ordered for delivery as I didn’t want to get anyone sick. His response was one of the craziest responses I have ever heard he said I quote “You have COVID?? You didn’t tell me you had COVID if I had known I would not have taken your order over the phone I would have had you do it online”…. I was like ummmmm what???? Then he repeated that I had to bring the food in for a refund and he had a mask for me to wear. I said ok if that is what you want me to do I’ll be glad to come down with COVID and my food. I asked to speak to the manager one more time and he said he’s busy we are getting ready to close. I said ok you just told me to go there and now you are saying your closed. I said ok I’ll report you and will NEVER return. He said ok. Pretty sad as we have followed them for Gallivan Blvd to Newport Ave to Morrissey Blvd. From reading all the reviews seems they do this to everyone so do NOT order...

My family has been ordering from this establishment for years, as soon as you complain to them about their product they act like you're wrong.The manager is going back and forth asking the employee how I ordered my pizza, as if I'm wrong about complaining. What ever happened to the customer is always right! The xtra large pizza I ordered was doughy it tasted like 2 layers of crust, asked for xtra sauce never got it, and hardly no cheese, some slices were burned, the pizza was dry and sucked, all I could taste was dough. When I called and spoke to the stupid manager to deliver and make another pizza they refused to bring me another pizza, told me I needed to come back tomorrow for a refund. Poor, poor, poor customer service. I had to drive all the way back there to get a refund. When I brought the pizza back, they're observing they're nasty pizza like I'm wrong for calling they're piece of nasty art TERRIBLE!!!! Don't buy there. They're pictures are deceiving, they're food tastes and looks nothing like they're pics. Go to Mattapan House of Pizza, better food and service.
