TL;DR: Not what it used to be. Portions are small, food is cold (even after remake). Used to be awesome, but can't recommend anymore. 2 stars because friendly staff.
This place has really gone downhill. I went in with a friend for their special deal on National Noodle Day. The deal included a free small mac & cheese with purchase, so that's what I ordered. To start, portions have gotten much smaller than they used to be, for both regular and small sizes. Even a regular isn't enough food. Second. the food was cold. I asked for them to heat it up a bit, but instead they just made a whole new meal. Waste of food, and second dish was cold too. Third, the food I received looked like I took no effort at all too much. Mac & cheese is basic, but my dish arrived as cold, unmelted cheese sprinkled on plain macaroni noodles with the tiniest bit of sauce underneath. The least they could do is prepare my food somewhat. A toddler could have that job.
I don't recommend this place anymore. Avoid it, because you'll be wasting your money and won't be satisfied with the amount or quality of their food. I was genuinely excited to go there when I saw the coupon, but I never plan on returning to any Noodles location. Thank you...
Read moreThe gentleman that took our order was a lovely cheerful chap. Not sure if one of pur dishes had sauce on it or not but happily gave us some when we asked. Both of our dishes were delicious. The parmesan chicken was seasoned wonderfully. We will definitely come back to eat. However, the restroom was in dire straights for attention. The garbage was overflowing, the toilet paper had fallen on the floor and unraveled its self on its adventure across the room. The toilet paper holder was empty. The baby changing station was open and had smears of a brown mystery substance spread finely across it. The best part of our dining experience was saved for last being the enormous glob of what apeared to be wet toilet paper encompassing the door knob which left me several choices; risk touching the bacteria filled glob, risk touching the toilet paper that had rolled across the floor or third, the option I went for. Say a prayer and touch the beyond vile door and then make a mad dash for my purse at the table which had hand...
Read moreI had the Korean beef noodles and a side order of chicken soup. The chicken soup was salty, but good. I would avoid it if you're on a low-salt diet. Also, the chicken was cut in long strips that made them difficult to pick up with a spoon. I used my fork, but it seemed awkward to eat soup with a fork. However, the chicken was tender and delicious. The Korean beef noodles were seasoned just the way I like them – spicy. The noodles were cooked perfectly. The beef was good, although there were a couple of pieces that could have been cut smaller. I ordered a regular-sized portion of Korean noodles, and it was more than enough. I probably should have saved some, but it tasted so good. I would have liked a little more soup. The restaurant itself is quite busy and quite noisy. Prices seemed high, but I know that Boulder is expensive...
