Heaven Creamery Boulder — Restaurant in Boulder

Our new favorite ice cream spot, for sure! We love the atmosphere (and photo op), and it's SO clean! There are a ton of flavors to choose from. I had the birthday cake, and my kiddos had cookies and cream, strawberry, peanut butter and vanilla. The birthday cake is delicious! It's not overly sweet, and the cake pieces are soft and fresh. The best birthday cake ice cream I have ever had. My oldest LOVES the cookies and cream. And my youngest, who is EXTREMELY particular and won't eat most ice cream, absolutely devoured his peanut butter and vanilla and then insisted we return the next day for more! I have never seen him eat so much ice cream before. He's already planning to come back for his birthday (which is almost a year away!) The texture is creamy and smooth. It all tastes and feels elevated. And everything is really fresh.

The man who helped us the first night was extremely patient and kind as we worked our way through some samples, and a back and forth over which cone to get. And the following day, the woman who helped us was so nice and welcoming. It was really a joy to be there. Can't wait to go back.

WARNING TO THOSE WITH ALLERGIES

My partner and I went to try this place at around 9:15PM on 8/6, since they were still open and serving coffee. We each ordered a dirty chai with oat milk, as we both have an intolerance to lactose. We watched the man behind the counter make our drinks with whole milk (and yes, we should have said something at this point, but we thought that he may have been making another guest’s order) and he brought our drinks out to us. My partner explicitly asked if our drinks were made with oat milk, and he replied “Yes” after waiting for a moment and gave us a very unsettling look. We promptly left, and realized that both of our drinks were made with whole milk.

Based on our interaction in the store, it seemed like the man behind the counter had an issue with my partner and I as soon as we walked in. I can speculate, but I don’t know why. Regardless, it is morally wrong to directly lie about the ingredients of a menu item, as this could be life threatening to those that have allergies. Please be careful at this establishment if you have an allergy, and please make sure that you receive what you order as the staff may...

I’ve gone to heaven a couple times and every time I’ve gone there I have been thrilled by my experience. There are so many different flavors and styles, there. They have dairy free ice cream as well as gelato and just regular ice cream. There are so many different unique flavors that you just don’t get at normal ice cream shops. Every time I have gone there I’ve been satisfied with the food as well as the customer service!

Even though on a normal basis, there are only one people working customer service they are always kind and patient. When I went there about a week ago, two of my friends ordered two crêpes. After 10 minutes of waiting or so the crêpes were ready. We did not notice at the time, though cause there was no pick up your order that you ordered place. But the one person working the whole entire customer service came specifically out to us and delivered these two gorgeous crêpes. Very kind and patient. I love this place.
