I decided to try out Post as it’s highly rated. My partner and I decided to try it out yesterday during their happy hour. The restaurant seemed empty for the amount of employees roaming around not serving anyone. We ordered a Moscow mule, an ipa off the beer menu, Brussels sprouts and chicken fingers off the happy hour menu. It was tough trying to figure out the happy hour specials, as two girls had to look for a couple minutes for the menus. We received our drinks, and the mule was great. My partner loved the IPA.
Unfortunately, we only received 2 chicken tenders. The order we placed was for the happy hour 3 for 10 tenders. When we asked where the other tender was, the manager came over and told us it was a miscommunication. We don’t know where the miscommunication happened, as our server placed the order correctly, but the manager claimed miscommunication.
We love fried chicken, but it did not live up to the expectations. The value did not match the quality/taste of the chicken. I really wanted to love this place, but it did not hit the spot. Their beer is awesome, but the chicken could be better. Giving a 3 star due to service, food quality, and value/price.
Edit: forgot to add that we ordered a margarita off the happy hour menu as well. The margarita was awful to the point where I couldn’t even drink it. Seemed to be missing lime and other ingredients. The manager ended up fixing the chicken tender issue, but there was only one other table in the restaurant. For having tons of employees run around the restaurant, why was the service subpar? Our order was incorrect and we were one of the two tables sat at the restaurant.
As someone who worked in the service industry, never have your employees running around while the only two tables aren’t being...
Read moreThe place was loud which is to be expected. The host was not very nice. Very few people where sitting outside so we asked if there was an available table. He said well itll have to be cleaned. So we waited there while he walked around for a bit then came back for us and took us out to a very dirty table and he took a dry rag and brushed all the food onto the chairs. We looked at each other surprised and i tipped a chair and brushed off the food for my wife before cleaning one off for my self. The waitress was very nice and attentive. We ordered a half chicken fried, an order of fries and coleslaw and two plates to use while we split the food. The chicken was a bit over cooked but tasty the fries were good and there were plenty of them. The slaw was a little bland but ok. A large family with kids came out and sat at a table beside us. My wife said they need another chair. They were behind me so i didnt notice they had asked for a chair already so i brushed off one of ours and offered it to them. They were greatful and took the chair and placed it at the end of there table. Before they could get everyone seated the host arived with a chair. I said i gave them one of ours. He gave me quite a scoul. Reached down and grabbed the chair and moved it back to our table and placed his identicle chair down at there table. Awkward. It was otherwise a fairly descent experience except for the host running to and fro with a grimmace until another customer arrived and he put on a momentary smile. That young man needs...
Read moreGuys, a side of fries here is $12 after tax. Not only do they do Nashville hot incorrectly, but they have the nerve to charge extra for it. So Nashville hot is simply just oil and spices combined and then the chicken patty is smothered in it after it’s fried. Their Nashville hot does not contain the heavy cayenne pepper that you would normally expect and therefore doesn’t have the deep reddish color of an authentic Nashville hot patty. Cayenne and oil are cheap, You have to deep fry the chicken in oil anyways, why are you charging for this? Do you think there’s extra cost associated with it? Additional complaints: their beer I don’t think ever matches the season. I come in in the winter I’m expecting a darker, porter/stout, amber, or brown ale and it’s usually the typical menu that you can get year-round. They don’t have special seasonal beers anytime. Then I come in the summer and I’m expecting wheat beers, Pilsner, maybe seltzer, maybe gose. Anyways, they don’t have any of that so don’t come here expecting anything other than an IPA which is fairly mediocre and you can go next-door and get a better beer. I’d say their chicken sandwich gone Nashville hot is nothing to write home about and honestly you could use a little bit of work, put some more Cayenne in that I am the one paying for it so just load it up it’s super cheap I buy it all the time at the store it’s basically free they’re almost paying to give you the stuff at the grocery store why are you charging a dollar...
