**CASH ONLY ESTABLISHMENT** food quality: 5/5 service: 5/5 cleanliness: 5/5 value: 5/5 Wow! I’m sad it took me this long to find this place! Vito’s Cheesesteaks are pretty amazing and it was everything I hoped for. This quick service restaurant was very unique not only with their food, but their payment system as well. This is a cash only establishment and even if you are not prepare with cash, they have an ATM readily available. The payment system made me laugh a bit as there is no cash register and Vito operates as the cashier, chef, and owner amongst many other roles. When you go up to order, he is extremely nice and takes your order, then tells you the total. You drop $20, $50, $100, and checks in the cash “hole” and anything less goes into the glass dish. If any change needed, you grab it yourself out of the dish (including quarters!) and it’s on the honor system to not take more than you should (he’s also watching ;) ) The orders came out fast and fresh - so incredibly delicious!! We ordered the classic Philly and the Roasted Garlic Philly - both amazing. The bread is from Stoneground Bakery and the meat was seasoned really well. Each sandwich comes with a bag of chips and soft drink that you fill at the soda machine. The rest of the staff was very friendly and attentive to refilling chips, cups, napkins, etc.. There is also a sign that asks customers to buss their own table, which I didn’t mind as they give you the sanitizing spray to wipe down the table. Would recommend over and over again! Can’t wait to go back!

📅 Date of Visit: 11/4/2021 💬 OVERVIEW - 5 Came here for the first time, and it was an amazing experience! It came highly recommended from my folks from Idaho. 🗺️ LOCATION - 5 Vito's is found there on the ever busy Main Street, and better than anything at a corner. 💲 PRICE - 5 While the prices seems a little steep, they are well worth it. A 7 inch sandwich was $10.50 while a 14 inch sandwich was $16.50. The sales tax is included with the price, which makes it real easy to figure out. 🌭 PRODUCT/SERVICE - I love blue cheese so I got a 7 inch crumbled blue cheese 🧀 Philly Cheesesteak, it was simply amazing! Probably the best cheesesteak I've ever had, and best of all it came with chips and a soft drink 🥤 which total included tax. 📢 POINTERS/PERKS - N/A The business hours are rather limited, weekdays from 11am to 2pm. The thing to be cautious of if they run out of product, they close early, so in order to ensure you get your Vito's fix, get there in a good time. The owner is also incredibly friendly and humble. 👨 EMPLOYEES - 5 More about the owner, he's incredibly easy to talk to, and so kind.

Vito’s is quickly becoming a culinary institution with a following all along the Wasatch front. Vito originally had a food truck that would dominate any venue that it served. That mobile kitchen specialized in a Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich that has continued to be the primary specialty of Vito’s Main Street location. Beyond the addictive appeal of its very focused menu is its unique, even idiosyncratic way of doing business. Vito’s is open 11 to 2 Monday through Friday - and those hours are not guaranteed. If the quantity of available ingredients surrenders to an excessive number of customers then he closes. Show up at 1:30 and you may be there too late… try again another day. And forget about using a credit card… cash only. So then maybe you’d expect to find a cash register? Forget about that too. Vito, while standing over his grill, tells you how much you owe and you drop a sufficient amount of currency through a slot in the counter counting your own change from a nearby bowl of coins. A visit means not only great food but a memorable experience.
