Leo's Breakfast Restaurant — Restaurant in Bourne

Consistently have had great breakfasts every time I’ve been there. I hadn’t been there for a year or two so I went to the website to see what time they opened and decided to read some of the reviews. Most were good but some were very dissatisfied stating the place needs an overhaul. My wife and I rode our bicycles there from Bourne Scenic Park. We were hoping it didn’t “go downhill”. It was crowded line forming at the door - We were seated right away , given menus , a pleasant smile and 2 coffees and 2 waters. My wife asked for milk, I like cream. There have been times other places forget the milk- our server brought her a little pitcher of milk. My wife ordered the eggs benedict and said that it was great. She had so many home fries she gave me some of hers. Perfectly done. I ordered the pancake , 2 eggs and bacon - it was excellent!! My pancake was pretty big I shared half of it. We were both very happy. Even had another waitress come by with the refills of coffee. “There you go honey,” she said. Total 26$ plus 10$ tip...

1 star because couldn't put 0. Waitress took over 15 mins to come to take our order, practically ignored us the whole time we were there constantly walking right by us to chit chat with coworkers or go to other tables. Table next to us WALKED IN 10 kins after we ORDERED and got their food at the same time as us. Plate was hot food was Lukewarm so I know it say undera warmer or something. Corned beef hash was wicked salty and was mushy as heck like baby food. I don't understand why it took 40 minutes for the food all I ordered was a toast egg sausage breakfast sandwich. It was just ridiculous. Like yes it was busy but people were getting their food in all different orders than the order they came. I was actually afraid to ask for an ice water because of how long it might take for her...

My friends and I tried to eat here but the person running seating was so rude and unwelcoming we decided to leave. My friend asked a waiter if we could sit at a booth and add chairs and he said yes. Then the manager came and yelled at us saying we couldn’t sit there with 6. We decided to split up and she yelled at us again, even though we were patiently waiting for the waiter.

We got up and decided to leave and she yelled at us on the way out “oh you’re leaving then!? Good bye!! Next!” In such an aggressive manner.

I don’t know if this played a roll, but I’ll mention that we are all young women of color (black, Asian, Indian) and another table brought in extra chairs and was not yelled at.

Super disappointing because the food looked good. We went somewhere else and...
