ORDER AHEAD- ORDER AHEAD
Firstly, I am so grateful that we have a drive thru Starbucks so close now! I anxiously waited for so many months until it finally opened! The design and layout out inside is so great. It’s a wonderful location to meet up, or if you’ve got some casual work or light reading, this is a great spot.
My only complaint is how long it takes to be serviced. I have been in line for 20 minutes now and I’m still several cars back from the pick up window. I feel bad for the person a few ahead, with their car top down in the sweltering sun!
Literally if you’re not driving thru at opening up to 830 am on a weekend, or closing time, expect to wait in the drive thru for a very long time. I always kick myself for not ordering ahead. If you are nearby and suddenly think you’d love to pick up a quick coffee, just run into the Harris Teeter one across the street. This wait time kills me! Today was 10:36-10:57 for service. If you plan to go on your way to church, give yourself an extra 30
The staff has mostly been nice. They don’t seem to be over friendly but they do well for a customer service role. Minus the opening crew last weekend- I got there around 815 and I had ordered ahead. Ran in to get my drink and no one greeted me. It was empty (woohoo!) but they were all standing there quiet like brooding hens lol I know it’s early but the other locations have set the bar higher with being a lot more cheery and greeting every customer.
So mixed feels on this place but super grateful to have it at all. I know time and coffee complaints are a first...
Read moreI and my family especially my sister have been patronizing this particular Starbucks for over 20 years before they even moved to the now drive thru the was originally a bank. They have always have been polite and pleasant even in the midst of rush hour crowds. Based on that my order's are placed on the app to make things easier for them and myself. Now because my sister is currently unable to work I order through my ubereats account. I am still receiving my orders from the same Starbucks on Annapolis Road. The last few times my Frappuccino has been watery not as thick as usual. Now before anyone says that it probably gets watery due to the delivery distance, well I live less than 2 miles away and I the driver drops my merchandise off first. I called Starbucks after placing my order and asked that my Frappuccino please be thicker and was quickly told that it was already made and that they were about to pack it up and also by the way the sandwiches ordered were not available. So this is very interesting because my phone number was available but no one at Starbucks thought to call the client and inform them of the change?? This is very disconcerting as I expect so much more from an establishment of their caliber. My reasons for even being a loyal customer has been based on the quality products and service. Starbucks being steps above the rest. Very disappointing and for me not to be able to give a 5 star rating in these times when surveys are of such importance. I guess that my expectations need to be adjusted. Thank you for...
Read moreHigh turnover of employees says alot about this location.
Also the parking lot is a tiny cramped disaster. I saw the SECURITY GUARD for the mall DOUBLE PARKING someone so he could stop in the LIQUOR STORE and watch KENO. F*. I know this is the fault of the mall, and not the Starbucks, but I want to give you fair warning if you have never been here.
Every Starbucks has it's regular customers, but the one's here are really creepy.
There are very few employees who work here and they change frequently. Seems like the problem stems from high level management, but who knows?
The people who buy here are dumb as bricks. They will order incredibly complicated drinks, and then, while the cashier is trying to ring everything up correctly they will shove their cash in the cashiers face like total fing idiots instead of just waiting. The staff here can be rude, but after seeing how the dumb-f customers treat them I'm really not surprised.
Oh yeah, and IMMEDIATELY after placing their order they run up to the pick up counter and ask "DURR HURR IS MY DRINK READY YET?"
Sy customers, sy employees, expensive drinks. Yep, it's a genuine Starbucks.
Also, people who come in for a free cup of water get to walk right up to the drink pick-up counter and get water right away, but PAYING CUSTOMERS have to...
