Original Review: 10/19/22 Service was a little slow with there being nobody else in the place. The drive thru was busy however. The place was not dirty overall but had many dirty tables for as slow as it was. The employees seemed to be lacking proper management and direction.
Revised and More detailed Review: I received a canned reply from either Arby's Corporate or the owner which may or may not be attached below. It directed me to a website where they want all my personal information and will not allow me to submit my review without that personal information so I decided to not do that and instead come back here. I don't want anything free. I don't want Arby's to "Make it right" as their site says. I want good, fast food, in a clean environment for a fair price. I rated the food 5 stars. I rated the service 4 stars and atmosphere 3 stars. Overall I gave it a 4 star rating which means it was a decent experience but certainly not a 5 star one.
What I saw overall was a lack of management. A lack of someone in charge that was good at their job. The parking lot was empty when I arrived. There were two cars in the drive thru. I could not tell how many employee's were working, but I could see 4. There was someone at the counter to greet us promptly. He was courteous and took our order accurately and without hesitation. A couple more cars pulled up in the drive thru and placed orders as we waited for food. The self service drink station was clean and well stocked. There was a condiment dispenser that was fairly clean and had stock of everything except Arby's Sauce. This pump was completely empty and cleaned out almost like it didn't work. There was no sign saying to go to the counter for Arby's Sauce or Out of order, but when we asked they promptly provided a foil sealed container. The wait for food seemed to be fairly long considering we ordered two roast beef sliders and a classic roast beef sandwich and curly fries. The Food was all good as previously stated. It was all hot and fresh. The dining room had several dirty tables and the restroom needed some attention. The trash bins were nearly full when I cleaned up our trash. During our visit I saw an employee walk food out to parked cars several times, but there was often times where two of the employees up front were just standing around and talking. This is were I felt they had a lack of management. There was nobody monitoring this or one of them was the manager, I am not sure. But they were not cleaning tables or the restrooms or dumping the trash. I don't write reviews to get free stuff. I try to write honest opinions about my experience. This experience was not bad at all. That is why they got 4 stars. The service was a bit slow, but the food was good and hot, so I didn't complain. Overall this could be a great place if the employees stayed a little more busy and kept it a little more clean. That and slightly faster service would have made it a 5 star review. I hope this answers managements questions.
One more opinion. I think management misses the point so much of the time. They are too disconnected from the day to day service of places they manage or own. Corporate will grade a location on the drive thru timers, but then the stores will park cars and spend extra time walking food out to them. If they are slow because they are short staffed, then they are more short staffed by having a person constantly walking food out to cars. But the numbers looks good, but have nothing to do with the real speed of service. When employee's clear orders from the order boards to get the times to look better but then can't recall what was ordered to get an order correct, then once again the customer's experience suffers. Sometimes corporate offices are putting way to much value in false numbers, and don't spend enough on real training and on...
Read moreWe were at Arby's tonight and they got my sons order wrong. We ordered a hamburger with no cheese.. he will not eat cheese. My husband said he confirmed this with who was taking our order twice. That is completely fine, mistakes happen. My husband brought the cheeseburger back up, waited a second, and the employee standing by the deep fryer finally said, "do you need something?" He said that he wanted the hamburger he ordered. She replied "that is a hamburger". He replied, "No, this is a cheeseburger, and we ordered no cheese" He said she was clearly annoyed and yelled back to the kitchen the correct order. I then heard him ask her, "Is there something wrong with the way I ordered?"
Look, when you work in customer service and get someone's order wrong, instead of making them feel like you are annoyed about fixing it or dealing with any sort of issue, try approaching the counter and saying something like, "I'm so sorry, let us fix that for you right away." Maybe even bring them the correct order instead of having them come back up to get it. Not once did she apologize, and we could hear her discussing the incident with the rest of the staff.
To add salt, on the way out she hollered, "have a nice night!"
We love Arby's, but this interaction...
Read moreHadn't had Arby's in a while, couldn't remember why. Drove through the Arby's off Scottsville, next to Freddie's. Ordered the Half pound Beef and Chedder, no sweet sauce, just two packets of horse radish sauce. Said it twice, plus large order of crinkle fries. No curly. Got it back to Alvaton. 1/3 of the fries were curly, it was like they were running out and just thought, what the he'll, just top them off with something he specifically said he didn't want. The half pound sandwich was cold. Not cooling down or Luke warm, cold, like it had been sitting out without even a warming lite. The bun was straight up stale, almost crunchy at the edges stale. And no horse radish sauce, at all. Asked twice, no sauce. I might have choked it down after nuking it, but as dry and stale as it was, with no sause... called them, rang no answer. Called again, no answer. I threw away $12, on something not even enabled. Now I remember why it's been so long. They don't care, they ruin their own food and there service sucks. To charge $12 for a single meal, your food needs to be superior. Yours isn't...
