Don't waste your money here. I placed an order on the app and almost everything was wrong. I ordered 2 bowls with a tortilla on the side and a burrito. When I got my food my burrito was made as a bowl and my tortilla on the side was missing. So I brought my food back in to be fixed (I live over an hour away and can't eat a bowl driving down the road), and when I did the girl with black hair was very rude and irritated that I didn't just eat what they gave me. I was waiting for a good 15 minutes when another employee asked what I was waiting for. I attempted to tell them that I was waiting for my food to be remade and the girl with the black hair came over and yelled at me saying she was taking care of it. Wow! I know they were busy so I just chopped it up to a bad night, took my remake and told her to have a good night. One of the bowls I ordered was for lunch today, I ordered a steak bowl with double protein. When I went to eat it it had a single portion of CHICKEN!! I paid for double steak just to get home and find chicken in my bowl! I have a kid with alpha gal! The only time I don't eat chicken is when we go out to eat!!! Not to mention the steak is almost $3 more than chicken! So I reach out to customer service. At this point I'm pissed. I spent over $42 on 2 bowls and a burrito. They come back and offer me a free drink oh and it expires in 30 days. I live over an hour away! There is no way I'm gonna make it anywhere near a store in the next 30 days. So I ask for a refund. They come back with, I've added a free entree to your account but it expires in 30 days. What part of I can't make it out there in the next 30 days did you not understand! Come on people! Then they disconnect the chat and I have to go back through all of this again to get a live agent who wants to give me $11.35 refund. My bowl that was completely wrong was almost $20!!!! Ultimately I ended up with a refund of $17.91, a giant headache and 2 freebies that will expire before I'm in a town with a Chipotle again. Like I said don't waste your money here. Read moreHorrible customer service I experienced 8/4/24 I placed an order online a little after 11 AM 8/4/24 at the following location: Broadway Manhattan Bowling green Chipolte for pickup at 7PM on 8/4/24 on my way from work . I live on Staten Island coming from work in the Bronx with ample time to get the 7:30 PM ferry . I got to the location at 7:10 Pm only to be informed by a dismissive male employee that I will have to wait for my order to be made because someone made it from 3 pm and he did not want to give me cold food .If that was the case why wasn't it remade for me to pick up at 7pm which would be the logical and common sense thing to do . I had to wait on the 8 pm ferry and I am not happy about that . It was a large order for 4 people 98 + dollars . I am new to ordering from Chipolte and will never order there again . There was not even an apology from any of the employee involved instead I was treated like trash . The lady who took the food out could hardly open her mouth to speak to me properly she just pointed to the bags on the pick up shelves and muttered . I had to ask her if they were mine . I wonder if I was not an older person and of a different race I would be treated this way . It's not so much about the lateness but there was no apology and I find the First Gentleman I spoke to and the young lady who took out the food very condescending and callous . The only one with some sort of manners that I spoke with was a young lady at the cash register. This is my first first experience with Chipolte and not a pleasant one for me . Maybe it's time for an employee inservice on customer service .Do not assume I am a nobody because that is absolutely not so but I will stay away from that establishment . Read moreUPDATE: I don’t know if the management changed, but the last couple times we went we had issues that will prevent us from returning to this location. Our most recent visit (5:30 PM on a Friday) they were “out” of corn and lettuce. Except they weren’t actually out… they just didn’t have any in the regular line but didn’t want to take it from the “online order” station. As a paying customer standing in front of you, I shouldn’t have to sacrifice ingredients in my bowl if you literally have what you need to make my meal in the store. We asked if we could have the ingredients we wanted from the online station side and they were extremely reluctant. Also, our chips were so burnt they were inedible and the chicken on my husband’s bowl was the crusty stuff from the bottom of the container so he also asked for steak because he knew the chicken wouldn’t be good. The guy scooped the steak on and then took some off! If you scoop “too much”, that’s your problem. There is also just NO REASON why a busy restaurant should be out of multiple of their staple ingredients (and sometimes even forks and straws). That just screams poor management to me (my family has been in the restaurant business for over 30 years).
Old review: This location is always so fresh and they don’t skimp on some of the ingredients like a lot of the other locations do. The last time we did a pickup order, it wasn’t ready when we got there (they were super busy) and they were extremely apologetic and loaded up...
