First and last time getting food from Danny's. I started my order by calling to place my order (8:30pm). The phone rang and went right to hold music. No greeting or anything. I waited for a minute and called back. As far as I knew they didn't even know I was on the phone. Same thing with the second call, right to on hold music, not a hello or please hold or anything. I thought that maybe it's automated as they want people to order online. I decided to order in person. They we not busy at all and now I understand why. The woman at the register didn't say a word, just looked at me until I spoke... I ordered a large pizza, half meatball with a Ceasars salad. I went outside and sat at a table to wait. I just happened to go in and she went and got my pizza off the top of the oven. By the temperature of the pizza, it was there for over 5 minutes. She couldn'tbother to open the door and tell me it was ready... now for the food review. While I ordered a half plain and half meatball I got a half mushroom. I called to let them know and this time they actually answered the phone. I let her know the mistake and she actually did the right thing. She offered to make a replacement pie. As I was already home I did not want to delay our dinner any further. She did offer to and did credit the meal costs. She said it would take up tp 48 hours to go through. The pizza was cold, 10 minutes after leaving the pizzeria. On a scale of 0-10 I would rate the pizza a 5.2. The Ceasars salad was warm and had mozzarella on it. I have never had mozzarella on a Ceasars salad before. The salad was lettuce croutons and mozzarella, that's it. With there being soooo many pizzerias in the area is have no idea how this place is still open. On top of that, I have no idea how this place has such a high dating on Google.
Response to owners response: No, this is the right place. I see this many times where the owner says "they looked for my order, must be the wrong place", it's a bad tactic. This is the right place. Own it, fix it. I will try your place in a few months again. If my experience is different, I will...
Read moreNormally pretty good food but the past couple times the order was below quality that they've presented in the past. Ordered a pizza and calzone last night, pizza was shoved into a box that was too small for it so when I opened it the pizza was folded in on itself and the cheese and toppings were smeared everywhere. The calzone on the other hand was burned and then covered in grated cheese as if to hide the fact it was burnt. Normally I really do enjoy the food so I'll throw some cash ($20 bucks to $100 if I haven't gotten takeout in awhile) in the tip jar since i appreciate the work they'll put into making good food, but getting this quality in return makes me just feel cheated since this isn't even close to the quality they'd given in the past. I still say give the joint a shot if you haven't had it before, I'm clearly just on the unlucky end but I'm not gonna risk getting egg on my face for the third time in a row with a scuffed order so I'll be finding a different...
Read moreI am so happy to have found Danny’s last year through a friend who was bragging on Facebook on how good the pizza is. I had to taste for myself I gave Danny’s a try and a year later it is still my go to. 5 stars is for several factors. 1 food quality is consistently fresh and delicious. 2.Service- Danny’s is set up for online order taking both for delivery and pick up. The drop down menu makes it simple and easy to place an order of you are like me and want to clock a button and have the order placed. You can certainly call the order in but online is my preference. Ownership. Danny goes out of his way to show his gratitude for his customers and our satisfaction. My favorite items are Mozzarella sticks, wings are tasty, and my favorite is the thin crust pizza that is as close to Ny Nj pizza in Boynton Beach Fl. Do yourself a favor and experience this wonderful Italian Pizza Kitchen for yourself. I love supporting small business and I love a business that...
