Have you been yet? Is it really the best in Bozeman? That gnocchi was pretty fire & the sourdough was delish #bozeman #montana #mountaintimemunch

Very cute spot and the food was delicious. The open kitchen is great to watch things being cooked and plated. If you're a local or just visting you should stop in and have a meal here. We had the sourdough toast, burger, trout tacos, and cookie. All of which was great. We had expected the cookie to be larger, more cast iron cookie size, but would still would get it again. Everything that came out of the kitchen was beautifully plated and the culinary team was professional and looked to really care about their work. The restaurant is family owned and sources most ingredients locally which is great. The one thing I would say is I wish their ketchup wasn't made in house. Homemade ketchup is just something to skip or at least have an organic Heinz option(Revelry does this). The homemade was liquidy and tasted of barbecue sauce, not ketchup. I may well be the minority in this though. They do have a credit card fee ("service fee") of I think 3% from math memory. I didn't see it listed as something on the menu but may have missed it. Small rant... I never understand why places that do this don't just raise their pricing in general and not show that fee. Others in BZN have been adding that fee on as well and feels off since the vast majority of transactions are on a credit card; just plan for it in your pricing like you plan for food and labor costs. Such small things, because the place is great and so is the atmosphere. We will certainly be back (maybe BYOK*) and am glad to have found another great spot around town! *ketchup

Came here for a nice "family" dinner for the first night we were in town, and with some reservations they were able to handle our group of 14 just fine. Wait staff was very informative and helpful, and let us know that much of what they make is locally sourced which I always find to be a nice little added touch. That being said, that means the menu often rotates, so hopefully you get lucky and get the same great meals we did! Decor is very modern, we sat on the rooftop which was delightful on a coolish evening, but there are also inside options. To start with drinks, we split a bottle of High Plains Drifter, a sparkling apple cider which was delightful and nearly was reminiscent of a light white wine. Then for appetizers we had the grilled sourdough and fried carrots with broccolini, and let me say, those were some of the best veggies I've ever tried. For mains I had the potato gnocchi and I tried the spicy noodle salad. The gnocchi is a bit rich but delicious and the spicy noodle salad lives up to its name and got a few of my friends a little choked up, but that isn't too say it wasn't very fresh and flavorful. I also tried the anise ice cream, which as I might have expected, wasn't for me, but that's personal taste, I don't like licorice, but I can tell the quality is there if you are one who likes to partake.

We have been in several times. Everything has been great in the past. Unfortunately tonight was a disappointment. The host was welcoming and sat us right away. Apps and dinner went off without a hitch. Other than sitting with empty beer and wine glasses on our table for 20 minutes. We had to ask for a second round. I watched our server pick up my dirty beer glass take it behind the bar and pour a new beer in it. She then took a cold glass out of the glass cooler and poured a beer for another table in a chilled glass. Dinner was great the cooks here have skills. We ordered dessert, after waiting 30 minutes, again with empty glasses on the table... we asked our server what was taking so long and she said she would go check. She came back to tell us that she had forgotten to ring the dessert in... she then told us it was one of her first shifts and was afraid to talk to the kitchen to expedite the 30 minute dessert. We ordered ice cream for dessert... Food is great, service is lacking. We didn't see a manager? No one but our server came to address why we sat there for 45 minutes waiting for ice cream. If it was that poor girls first shift why was she not supported by an experienced server or manager? Step your game up little star. Your service needs to match the effort your...
