Just a block from downtown with entry to the trail at any number of spots in town this trail rocks. It accommodates people ranging in age from youthful to older. The flat areas below the ridge provide ez riding or walking in a variety of terrain. Jog, walk, or bike up the trails to the top and you will be provided spectacular views of the Bozeman area with mountains all around and views of the city nestled into the valley. Read moreGallagator Trail in Bozeman is part of an old rail line. It begins at the old train depot, which has been preserved and turned into the public library. The trail goes for about 1.5 miles. It is dog friendly and the children are sure to enjoy it as well. There are several works of art along the path for you to check out. Following the trail also provides glimpses of a stream that flows it alongside it. The only downside was part of the trail was closed while they do some road work.
