Just a block from downtown with entry to the trail at any number of spots in town this trail rocks. It accommodates people ranging in age from youthful to older. The flat areas below the ridge provide ez riding or walking in a variety of terrain. Jog, walk, or bike up the trails to the top and you will be provided spectacular views of the Bozeman area with mountains all around and views of the city nestled into the valley. I saw groups of children on mountain bikes, yoga work outs, dog walking galore, biking, jogging, and lots of picture taking. Enjoy this wonder of the Bozeman area.

Thoroughly delightful trail along a paved path featuring sculpture/art along the way. My 86+ year old father who walks with a cane enjoyed the stroll and strategically placed benches for art gazing. Did I mention a delightful place!

In town trail behind library with 2 different lots to park at. Easy flat trail that meanders along a creek in places. Some benches throughout with shade. Was especially nice with fall colors. We enjoyed!

Gallagator Trail in Bozeman is part of an old rail line. It begins at the old train depot, which has been preserved and turned into the public library. The trail goes for about 1.5 miles. It is dog friendly and the children are sure to enjoy it as well. There are several works of art along the path for you to check out. Following the trail also provides glimpses of a stream that flows it alongside it. The only downside was part of the trail was closed while they do some road work. Anyway, I recommend this trail if you are looking to get some stroll...

Gallagator Trail is one the easiest stretches of "Main Street to the Mountains." It is usually easy to walk, even during the winter months, and has a few outlets into main roads that lets you access restrooms, shopping centers, parks and more. During dry months, I would even venture to say the train might be wheelchair friendly, especially since the trail has heavy traffic in case of trouble. #oneaccessibility #letsguide...
