Hooters — Restaurant in Brandon

First off let me start by saying the 2 stars are only because out waitress was stellar. Leslie was attentive and kept checking on us and letting us know she was waiting on our food. With that being said we waited almost 1 hour for our food. We ordered mozzarella sticks that came within 10 min of ordering. Then we waited. My husband ended up going in to find a manager to see what the wait was. About 10 min after he talked to the manager our food was delivered to the table. I went to get a wing and it was ice cold. We told leslie and she took them back. She left the fries which were also cold but by this point we just wanted something to eat. The Wongs came back 5 min or so later. Not as cold but still cold. We went ahead and ate them. The wings have shrunk!! Im a native floridian and have been eating at hooters since they opened and this was just sad. See the pics!!! The manager my husband talked to earlier came by the table and asked how it was. I told him still cold but we are hungry so we are eating them. Also mentioned to him the size and how small they are. He told is they have a new distributor and this is the size. He offered to bring us more wings. We declined because honestly at this point we had been there an hour and a half. He said he would take a little off the bill for the wait. We finish up and Leslie brings the check to the table with no change to it. I let her know he said he would take something off. She left and returned with 10$ off. So long story told we will not be returning to Hooters. Which makes me so sad.....they used to have the best wings but now I can no longer say that about these sad...

I purchased 70 wings for my team luncheon and a couple of salads.

I had 4 flavors.

Blackend - The best. They were juicy and had a great dry rub.

Tai Chili - A little spicy with a unique flavor and just the right amount of sauce.

Mild - A little dry. However, dipped in Ranch ( which costs extra) They were good.

Honey Barbque - A little over cooked, too crunchy and no putting them is lots of sauce doesnt help. Additionally, Hooters shorted me by 3 wings. This was the only box with leftovers.

I wanted 2 Hooters Salads and one Chicken Cesar. I ended up ordering 2 Chicken Cesar's only because the APP would not let me order the Hooters Salad without Chicken. I told the two employees running the to go orders and they were indifferent. So I showed them on the APP, still little concern. They said it's an issue.

I should have been offered a Hooters Salad , I would have paid the price difference. I told them I wanted one.

I also am not a fan of ordering that many wings and being charged for dressing, not even one is included with 70 wings. I had to ask for another dressing with the salad, I was told there is a charge even though I protested. One small dressing is not enough for a large salad. I bought extra dressing.

My first large order here was great, the District manager was in town. I bought a gift card and the food was great. My 2nd visit was similar, to this one, missing a little more food and not as good. My 4th larger order will be at a...

I ordered 20drums 10 boneless and 2 ranch to go. I get the place was a madhouse for sure being Father’s Day. I couldn’t cook and my husband loves loves loves hooters as well as I do. Even had family working there at one time or another. Either way I ordered because I have some swelling going on that could be serious to be sitting too long but hey what ya do for your husband on Father’s Day counts. I live in Gibsonton so driving to brandon is quite painful of a trip right now. So picked up food and hobbled out to get home as fast as possible to put my leg back up. I get home wings were soggy and really sauce wasn’t even in half the boneless, the wings were mixed NOT DRUMS where you get charged extra for, and missing a ranch that I paid for. No problem I’ll call and see what they can do. I call in talk to Riley. She said yeah come back bring food and we’ll fix or give you the difference for the mixed wings ( I paid cash) I told her I can’t drive again as it is a medical thing to be able to go down there is excruciating. She didn’t care said there’s nothing she can go then. I said I could send her a photo and that wasn’t even good enough. I spent money on garbage I could have had delivered from down the street and double the amount we got. Instead I paid for something that we didn’t want and they just don’t give any type of care to their customers or their happiness. Really bad play hooters. One less place I used to love go...
