**Update to below: Couldn't take it anymore and found a manager myself and spoke to her about the experience and distinction of the entire night. She addressed the issue, spoke with the party host and apologized to the birthday mom. Glad that she took the time and addressed the issue but still frustrated and would not recommend having a party here unless you like having a disastrous one. Lol
Only rating 1 star because the kids always have fun jumping and because I have to choose a star rating in order to leave a review. Came here for my friend's sons 5th birthday party and wow total chaos and disorganized. Arrived just before 7pm for the 7:40pm party since they want parents to check in approximately 30 minutes before the party start time. No clear signage on where to go to check in for the parties so stood in line where you'd normally purchase admission. Get to the front and then I'm told I have to visit the register location on the other side of the room. So I proceeded over there and they begun by asking my child's name and if I filled out the waiver. Advised of my child's name and that I did fill out the waiver. They asked my child to place her shoes on a cart that was sitting by the register that had some gift bags and cake on it. Good thing I asked for confirmation of whether this was for the birthday I was there to attend. Because it wasn't. They couldn't find the birthday party on the list that I was there for but eventually did find it. Told us to just hang out in the general area since party didn't start til 7:30pm. So we decided to go next door to look around until it was closer to party time. When we came back, the birthday parents arrived and asked if we had received the party shirt to which we hadn't so we had to stand in line again to get the shirt. When I spoke to the clerk she wanted my child's name and to know if we needed to check in. I told her we already checked in and showed her our wrist bands and the jump time sticker my daughter was wearing. She advised me that the computer system didn't have us checked in so needs to do it again. She asked if I filled the waiver out to which I said yes. She said she couldn't find it even though the clerk about 30 minutes ago found it. So this one made me and the other parents fill out the form again!!! By this time I'm extremely frustrated. I filled out form again. Party was supposed to begin at 7:30pm but no clear direction from staff and they were so unorganized with getting everyone signed in that it wasn't until 8pm until the kids went to go jump. They took the cart with bags and cake but didn't let parents know where the party room was. Party host disappeared on several occasions. When my husband went exploring he was told he couldn't be in the party area until it was decorated. Which was a complete JOKE when we all were eventually advised to go to the party room since all the decorations were balloons and plates. They didn't even take the cake out of the box or serve the kids the pizza. Parents had to serve. I thought that a party host was supposed to help in all of this. After all this is what was paid for!! The music is blaring so loud I can barely hear myself speak. Not to mention that the music is inappropriate for kids. Being down the volume in an effort to not damage hearing. I already have a hearing problem due to a car accident a year ago so I'm extremely uncomfortable being in here. The party parents are frustrated by the disorganization and fact that they paid over $400 for this party and it's pure chaos. When complaining to the staff member all he offered was 1hr additional jump time after the pizza and cake. As a parent the one thing you hope for with your kids party is that it's perfect and despite the kids having fun the parents are left apologizing to guests and with a feeling of disappointment!!!! Extremely disappointed and not happy...
Read moreWe've been to the one in Ft. Lauderdale and had a great experience. We decided to try the one closer to us as we live in NE St. Petersburg. The place was a mess and there just wasn't a good vibe about the place. What made matters worse we were sitting in the food court area and out of no where a ball fly past the netting (that goes almost to the ceiling) and hit my mother in the face. It hit her so hard that it twisted the frame on her glasses and she had a terrible migraine. The associates say what happened as it happened and took their sweet time to attend to her. One associate took an incident report as the assistant manager Quinton just put his hand on her shoulder asking if she wanted some water. I got pissed and asked to speak with the manager because it just seemed as if no one was trying to do anything. The manager had already stopped by our table (which I didn't know she was the manager at that time) when the associate was typing the report up and told them they were needed else where, not even addressing us. When the manager came it was clearshe just smiled as if she had no idea what happened. When I told her what happened her response was "Oh, no. Really?" When I got even more upset that no one was trying to do anything about my mother who at this time was having blurred vision the manager said she understands my concerns but she went and spoke with whoever was over there and told them to not kick the balls so high or hard. I looked at her crazy because how did you not know what happened when you first came but then all of a sudden you spoke to whoever when it happened. Then I asked what is the protocol when something like this happens. She said it's never happened before so she doesn't know. She also said usually we give you whatever you want from the food counter to make you comfortable. Quinton then added that if it was a little kid they would give a slushy. My mother gets hit in the face with a ball and all they want to do is feed us!? They then added we can give you 30 minute passes for the kids to come back. I told them I will NOT be coming back here so it's pointless. I don't feel safe. We were away from the play area and still managed to get hurt. I didn't want to create a scene so we simply got our things and left. It's clear the associates there do not know how customer service works or what to do when someone gets injured on the premises other than take an incident report. If you do decide to attend this facility make sure to look out for random flying balls that can still fly OVER the netting that's in place...
Read moreSuper cool place. I've taken my nephews there multiple times a week this summer. My sister bought the VIP package so we've definitely taken advantage of that.
Pros: I love that there are numerous places for non-jumpers to sit and observe. The employees are chill when it comes to overall observation and enforcing of rules. For example, they are great at observing dodgeball games to avoid injury and maintain clean play. They don't really nit pick about other rules so long as jumpers and non clean up after themselves and make sure to watch their child(ren). Huge, multiple play areas, for littles and grown people, walkable around the entire area, even for non-jumpers. (The only other trampoline park I have been to was Altitude in Tampa and I really didn't like not being able to have access and eyes on the kids at all times.) You can sit and watch from every station at Sky Zone. It's so large, even when large groups come in, like camps or schools, there's still plenty of space available for all of them to play. If you lose sight of your child, they'll overhead page them. LOVE that. The employees are mostly teenagers and young adults. They are professional and kind when dealing with the young jumpers. They are also patient with the older folks. Memberships are worth it if you are going to come regularly. I enjoy taking the kids. I'll have my water, snacks, and book. I'll stay in one place so they know where to check in when they want water or food. No one bothers you. The air conditioning KICKS! Depending on where you sit, you'll need a sweater or jacket.
Cons: Prices for food. Bring your own drinks and food/snacks. There's a large area where you can eat that's separate from the jumping area. I have brought water bottles and snacks every time I've come. I refuse to pay those prices. They charge for ice. 🙄😒 There is a public water fountain by the restrooms to refill but they won't give you ice. Understaffed. It takes a bit to get checked in, even if you have a membership. Without one, even longer. It would be convenient if there was a scanner for customers to use for entrance. (I realize that's probably a corporate thing, but...
