I have been buying here for years. However, this month of October AND NOVEMBER 2021, I was here more than 8 times. I bought pork meat and fish. However, I bought 3 pork meats in styrofoam container and I put it in a bag each one of them because it does leak when I get home. The same thing with the fish because it was put on a bag of ice which was also leaking and melting I arrived home. As soon as I got to the cash register the lady CASHIER #114 was complaining and talking to the other lady that was helping her bagged the grocery items. The cashier #114 was angry about the meats and fish was put in a plastic and having difficulty scanning the items. The cashier #114 was talking bad things about me as a customer that the meats and fish was each separately put in a bag in Chinese language as if she did not know THAT I WAS able to understand what she's talking about. This CASHIER #114 removed the meat item in each bag and scanned it and dumped the meat item without putting it back in the bag on top of the plastic bag. I told both the CASHIER #114 and the lady bagging the groceries that it's not hard to put the meat back in the plastic. The CASHIER # 114 was angry talking, complaining and pouting the whole time she was scanning all the items I bought. This is the 3rd time I have experienced this with CASHIER #114. AS IF She is not happy her job, then CASHIER #114 shouldn't be working THERE. THIS CASHIER #114 HAS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I HAVE KEPT MY RECEIPTS AND THAT'S HOW I WAS TO IDENTIFY HER FROM MY PAST GROCERY...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNew to the Tampa areas, but not to the Southeast region. So I been going around to the different Asian markets to see what is offered. Being from Atlanta and living in Koreatown for years and traveling to different Asian markets and stores Iām always open. Lotte Market was my first stop- it was clean, well stocked and very welcoming. MD on the contrast, well it had lower prices on certain items. Iām aware of the import taxes that contribute to that. But my rating was influenced by the LOW CUSTOMER SERVICE. The employees were staring and lightly following myself and my fiancĆ©e. Yes, one employee raced in front of us trying to bolt to the back of the store just to look. So racially profiled smh and itās quite interesting because Iām Thai and African American. I still kept an open mindset, the cashier I spoke to her greeting her as she did with the customers in front of us. She remained MUTE, start to frown and say the total. Yes I bought as well to try and disregard some of the employees. I politely told her thank you and she said youāre welcome. Lol š. HD maybe you should focus on customer service for all demographics and clients shopping. Itās a shame bc Tampa isnāt known for a huge thriving Asian community but it has potential to developing one, by one store at a time. I will be coming back to see...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Brandon location is the worse! The young man pictured name Ling and the old lady Cheri are the most RUDE DISGUSTING people ever. I am Dominican married to a Asian man and i come here to shop for my family, however whenever I need help finding something and I asked either of those two they give me dirty looks and short answers and claim not to have the items! I've had enough and will never return to this place. firstly while waiting in line Cheri was helping out instead of telling me she's about to close she just walks off after i put my stuff on the belt, a month later after another visit Ling tells me i don't know anything about asian food when returning a bottle of sauce that had a dead bug in it! Not only that after my last visit he flat out told me that he didn't want to "serve my kind anyway" after he told me they didn't have an item that another employee ended up finding. As a proud American I will never give my business to a dirty rude racist store! And i hope the health department checks out their dirty...
