Villa Rina Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

Brandon, if this is supposed to be your town's best pizza place, you all don't know pizza! I was in town for a few days. After reading the positive reviews, I thought I would try this place. I was staying at a local hotel, so I used delivery. The ordering process was fine. After that, it was all down hill. Delivery guy showed up and, unfortunately, I gave him the tip before I had a chance to check out the food. I ordered plates, napkins, utensils and extra sauce, but they never arrived. Driver had to go get them and bring back. When I told the driver about the shape of the pizza, he just shrugged his head and said that's how they gave it to him, which I highly doubt. The Philly cheesesteak was actually good, but the bun was very soggy. Ended up throwing bun away and eating with fork. The box the pizza came in looked as if it were shoved into the delivery carrier. The box was folded over and the pizza was smashed against the top and sides. All the toppings slid to one side of the pizza. So I had a pizza with 1/2 the crust empty because everything was now on one side of the pie. And whoever said this crust was crispy was wrong. It was so soft I couldn't even eat it. Had no taste and was actually wet IMO. I just ate the toppings, which were OK at best. I put a pic in the comments of the crust folding backwards. When I called, the girl apologized and said she didn't know what they could do. I've been around the country and this is definitely one of the worst pizza places I've experienced. Our first, and last visit. We like to support small business. Saw the reviews and wanted to give it a try. First, the service. It was not good. Waitress was friendly enough and promptly took our order. That's were it ended. She brought the drinks first, or should I say drink. We ordered two ice teas, simple right. She brought only one, then said she was sorry she forgot it should be two and then brought the second, no big deal. A few minutes later she shows up and asks if she took our order. Seriously, you couldn't remember taking our order a few minutes ago. Mind you the place wasn't busy yet and there were not a lot of people. Then a bit later she brought the food. One order was a meatball sub, the other was suppose to be two slices of the Villa Rina Special pizza. But what she brought was two slices of plain cheese pizza. Mentioned the pizza order was wrong and what it should be. She said sorry, took it back. Later she returned with pizza that just had the other ingredients tossed on the pizza. Obviously not what I expect and I'm sure not the way it should have been prepared. The meatball sub was good but nothing special. We both said we felt there would be no need to return. Disappointing service, disappointing pizza. Sad, cause I was really looking forward to dining there after reading...

DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE!! I had a delivery order from this place. My order was totally incorrect. I called and spoke with someone on replacing my meal. When I called back I spoke with "Chad" (So rude and disrespectful) I told him my transaction number, receipt number, date and time. I asked to speak with the manager he said that he was the manager. He put me on hold and told another worker in the background that " I was the lady that always call for free food" WOW!! You may say we all look alike but I know definitely we don't sound alike. But I told him that he was lying on me because I've never called and complained on any of my meals. I told him that he was a flat out lier. For this I encourage none of my people to eat this place it sounds like they're a little racist here. I will also post this every 30 day s until the real owner contacts me. I will tell my church, my job, facebook all of my community on how badly I was treated and how I was falsely accused of something that because I was clearly Black prevented me from getting proper service. This is a message to the owner. Watch Chad because if he can lie on a paying customer he may be hitting your books. FYI....I had to give it one star in order to post this review.
