As an ex subway manager I don’t know who hired the older white gentlemen who works nights i believe his name is Daryl BUT he definitely should not be working anywhere with his attitude. First off id like to say when we pulled up there were angry customers storming out. When we asked why they were leaving they said there’s only one person working there is people in line and 3 online orders that have not been completed. We decided to still go in due to it being 10 almost 11 at night and we really didn’t want McDonald’s. We came inside and he looked up with an attitude proceeding to say “I have to take care of them and then I’m going to finish these 3 online orders before helping yall” looking up at us again like we were going to leave or something? He finished with the people before us and started 1 of his online orders during this he is talking to my friend and I complaining how he pretty much hates what he does and how he doesn’t make enough and can’t live off his hours or pay and tells us how he relies on tips but with the way he acts and treats people I don’t understand how he would even think people would drop a penny in that tip jar. DoorDash driver came in while he is still only completing 1 of the 3 online orders (we have been here 30 minutes now) tells the worker the pick-up name and the worker says with an attitude it’ll be a few minutes the DoorDasher was a Hispanic gentleman and didn’t understand and showed the worker his phone again and the worker snapped back saying to wait.. the door dasher leaves and the worker proceeds to tell my friend and I that “people should have the decency to at least speak and understand English before coming to America”. He also complained to us about people opening the door saying grown people are “acting like kids” and how it annoys him.. well I was one of those people because I needed my wallet and also stepped out for a smoke break because again I was in there over and hour so I guess that makes me a kid for not wanting to stand in line staring at him while he works. He finished the orders up were now going on an hour maybe a little over and he starts our order and doesn’t have a good attitude he said for the wait he would put a little extra meat which he did not which isn’t a big deal we were not expecting walking in there. The tomatoes were moldy. There was meat sitting out on the counter behind instead of in the fridge. When asked if he had pretzels etc he wasn’t happy that he was having to do work and look. Again kept mentioning tips like he did anything to deserve one. After getting our food and leaving I ran into another employee who was off the clock and very sweet who told me about how he walked in before to him talking crap about him to customers because he was off the clock and wouldn’t help him as if it was the employee who was off the clocks fault that he wasn’t scheduled for that time and day. Read moreI went in at around 4 am and the cashier asked me if I have apply pay or cash app cause he has a deal for me and said no I don't and I'm not interested so he starts making my sandwich and continues to ask for $10 I said I only have card he said there's an ATM just out side the store and that if I get the $10 I can have the sandwich and drink and chip for just the $10 I said I really don't want to cause the ATM charges a fee. So we get to the check out and his register is down and said you can go to the ATM or wait however long till the register is back up and running and at this point I was already tired of him and I just got off work so I went pulled out $20 since the ATM doesn't do $10 so it cost me $24. So I head back to the subway hand him the $20and put it in his pocket and he hands me $3 and says it's $10 so I count just to check and he's like o my bad how much do I owe you and we head back inside and he tries to open his register and says it's still down can I get anything else for you and at this point I'm over it mad tired. So I say a bowl or meet balls just to make it quick and get out of there worst experience ever. I tried calling the store the next day but all calls went straight to voice mail except catering and the lady I talked to said that's not ok and the district manager would be calling me soon but still...
Read moreI have been a customer for years at this location, they have had good employees in the past, and they all seem to have left except one or two. I have always ordered ahead, due to time constraints and about 95% of the time the order is ready when I get there. Today not so much, it hadnt been started. Plus when they made the sandwich they forgot about most of the meat. It was a footlong steak and cheese, with lots of veggies, this is what I got, it barely had any steak and cheese, luckily I did add pepperoni or it may not have had meat in it. This is the third or fourth sandwich I have gotten from here recently, that have not been made up to their normal standards. I am not sure why they got rid of the employees who made this restaurant work fast and efficient, but the new employees need more training, There were several customers in line who just left after waiting so long to get any service. Others were clearly frustrated. Please train your employees for success, this is not it.
