This McDonalds is pretty terrible, enough for me to go online and complain which I never do. Its close to my house so that's why I end up going there but I think Ill just take the extra 5-10 minutes to go to the next one down the street. The owner really needs to clean house, fire the entire staff and really look at their hiring practices to ensure some kind of minimum standards.
The last time I went through the drive through I ordered 2 Mcdoubles plain, I ate the first one as I drove and as I went to bite into the next one my mouth brushed against something...I pulled it away from my mouth to find a huge piece of lint with pubes jutting out of it, I pulled over and spit out and tossed the burger. Now I understand this kind of thing happens, ive worked in a restaurant and accidents happen.
It wasn't until I went in the store the next time I went out to lunch that I Understood what was going on. It was 1030 in the morning so they were getting smashed by the early lunch rush...I get it its hectic....but service was terrible. The lady at the counter looked at me like I was ruining her day by just being there ordering, while the rest of the crew fumbled around the kitchen doing a half assed job as cars outside in the drive through piled up and people inside waited around impatiently for 10-15 minutes to get there food...which 3/5 orders that were taken while I was there were churned out were either wrong or missing at least one thing. Some customers didn't even bother waiting anymore as they finished what food they received and then left impatiently without the rest of their order.
I think what angered me the most was that as I waited for 15 minutes for my food was that a father and his two kids came out of the bathroom and complained to the manager that his son had to use the bathroom but couldn't because someone was smoking weed in there. The manager just shrugged and laughed with her employees when they all giggled about it. They didn't do anything, didn't send someone in to get who ever was in there out, didn't call the cops...just went on doing a crap job.
I finally received my food for me and my daughter and the young woman just gave me a blank stare...no "enjoy your meal" nothing but a blank stare...like I was oppressing her or forcing her to serve food at a poorly run fast food joint. Oh and guess what they messed up my daughters order as well...I didn't even bother going back in...I just tore my burgers apart to make sure there was no foreign material, put them back together and ate in my car.
I wont ever go back there, it is being run by people that do not care, the mangers have no business holding their positions and they need to get someone in there that can control their worthless employees. Of all the employees I saw one young man that looked like he got it, he was clean shaven, his uniform was sharp and he actually made eye contact, said excuse me as he ran out the door to give people at the drive through there food, then ran back into try to bring some control to the madness that was going on around him. Its a shame the rest of the staff were doomed to live out an existence...

IT STARTED AT THE FIRST WINDOW WITH YOUNG LADY TEXTING AS I WAS REQUESTING HER TO REPEAT MY ORDER BACK (SHE DEFINITELY WAS NOT ATTENTIVE SO I'M POSITIVE THAT'S WHY MY ORDER WAS NOT RECEIVED CORRECTLY)
I'M SURE NOTHING WILL CHANGE WITH STAFFING BUT FROM TEAM MEMBERS TO MANAGEMENT SHOULD PRACTICE PROPER TRANING ON HOW TO DEAL WITH THE PUBLIC OR BE DEMOTED.
IN ADDITION TO THAT FIRST ENCOUNTER - I THEN PULL UP TO THE SECOND WINDOW WHEREAS THIS YOUNG LADY WAS ACTUALLY ON THE PHONE.[EAR PODS] AS I'M LOOKING THROUGH THE WINDOW I SEE A LOT OF CROSS CONTAMINATION GOING ON WHICH IS VERY HAZARDOUS.
AS I RECEIVED MY ORDER- I REALIZED MY FOOD WAS COLD (FRIES) SO I REQUESTED SOME NEW FRIES THAT'S WHEN THE STAFF MEMBER GOT AN ATTITUDE & TOLD ME I WAS "TRIPPIN"
I ALSO WANNA REMIND YOU (HURRICANE MILTON) HAD JUST PASSED SO THERE'S NO ELECTRICITY IN FLORIDA & FOOD RESTAURANTS ARE LIMITED.
FINALLY, I ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE TEAM LEAD OR MANAGEMENT. (I THINK DESTINY IS HER NAME)
SHE DID NOT MAKE THE SITUATION ANY BETTER. I TOLD HER ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE AT THE EACH STATION AND "NEVER ONCE DID SHE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCOMPETENCE OF HER STAFF". I ONCE AGAIN EXPLAINED THE SITUATION TO HER & SHE DISREGARDED MY REQUEST & FEELINGS EVEN THOUGH HER STAFF WAS THE ONE WHO MADE THE MISTAKE.
WHAT REALLY FRUSTRATED ME THE MOST WAS WHEN SHE TOLD ME, I WOULD HAVE TO GET BACK IN LINE OF (HUNDREDS ON CARS) FOR FOOD I PREVIOUSLY ORDER EVEN THOUGH IT WAS HER STAFF MISCUE .
SHE JUST CONTINUED TO SAYING " I DON'T HAVE A REGISTER AT THIS WINDOW SO I CAN'T HELP YOU"

From the time I walked in the staff was highly attentive, extremely friendly and helpful. As I sat to eat my breakfast I watched their demeanor with other customers and continued to feel impressed.
continued to watch and wondered just what it was that was setting this McDonalds apart from the rest. What was it that made this staff so much better than most experiences I’ve had in other locations.
By the end of my meal, I was already ready to leave an excellent review because I was so impressed!
I went to the front counter to ask for another straw since mine broke and from the counter I overheard the most beautiful conversation and I began to understand.
Instead of overhearing kitchen chatter or cursing, chaos or yelling, I overheard a woman speaking to someone in the kitchen in the most beautiful way. She told whomever she was speaking to that they were doing a great job. That they should stay encouraged and believe in themselves because they were doing so good so far and that she believed in them and their growth.
Tears were in my eyes. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing but I absolutely understood why this location is as good as it is!
I caught the attention of a staff member and asked who was speaking back there and if the was the manager. To my absolute amazement, it was!
I asked to speak with her. I just wanted to tell her that I heard her and how impressed I was with her store, her staff and most importantly her!
Destiny, the manager is top notch!
I have been in Food & Beverage my entire life and have almost never seen anything like it.
Dan was amazing, Jennifer was amazing and this McDonalds should be the example to all the others of what true customer service looks like.
