BBQ Time — Restaurant in Brandon

I had a great experience at barbecue time. I had the ribs and pulled pork with baked beans, fries and Mac n cheese. Everything was fantastic. The meat was cooked and flavored well. The beans were flavored but still tasted like beans and the fries are freshly cut home fries. The sauce is a good smokey sweet backyard flavor. It's perfect. It doesn't taste like commercial plastic sauce like mission barbeque. Many know this location used to be first choice BBQ. A nice upgrade now is wonderful AC and ventilation! The staff is very kind and high spirited. We definitely want to see barbecue time stay on the map for the true barbecue seekers. I am officially a fan and will probably eat here once a week. It's hard to critique anything considering it's a new favorite barbecue place of mine. But if I had to pick at anything I would ask for a little more flavor on the mac and cheese and add on a spicy barbecue sauce...

Randy has taken the previous First Choice and made many of the improvements that were way past due. The smoked pork sandwich tasted great and the fresh fries couldn't have been any more fresh since he dropped my order as soon as I said I wanted fries. The place has a nice refresh but most notalbly, the people working there are a million times nicer and something you would never hear at First Choice is the owner telling customers as they are leaving, "Thank you for your business, I hope you enjoyed your lunch. Please come back again". I stopped going to First Choice because of the hideous way the employees talked to the customers. I’ve came to this place, but not purchased before and thought OK I will finally give them a try upon arrival when I seen the menu. I noticed that the ribs were almost one of the cheapest items. I was a little concerned because I’ve never been to a barbecue place where the ribs are the cheapest they are usually the most expensive, I got the baked beans and potato salad. Potato salad was absolutely a bust :( because after eating that within four hours I had my stomach nearly explode. I had to leave work because of how many times I had reoccur went to the bathroom. Please be careful with the ribs. I picked up my first rib and asked my girlfriend. Did somebody buy it off of it because of how thin it looked. I will not be here again. Sadly, the beans...
