Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Branson

Chili's is my FAVORITE and it was my birthday. We specifically drove to the Branson location. We arrived ten minutes after they opened. We were seated and waited for 10 minutes for someone to even come to our table. (They went to other tables that were seated AFTER us first) We then ordered what we always do, chips/salsa/queso. It took another 40 minutes to get this. That has never happened! I ordered a cup of soup, it was brought out lukewarm. We waited over an hour for our meal. The people with us had ordered an appetizer for their meal. The waitress brought it out and I started to ask when ours would be coming and she responded rudely, "They ordered an app, you didn't". We were taken aback by her attitude. We ordered fajitas as we always do. Someone else brought them out with no sizzle or heat. The shrimp was cold. The steak was raw. We still didn't complain to the waitress, but the waitress became upset and we don't know why. She must have sent someone over whom asked if your meal was ok and we told her what happened, we assumed her to be the manager. She listened to our complaints and kindly offered to fix the check. We did not ask or expect this. We just wanted them aware as this was not right and our meal was ruined. (We did not even complain about the waitress at all to the manager!) The waitress NEVER came back. She would pass by us and LITERALLY NEVER served us again, nor refilled our drinks, nothing. She literally stopped serving us. (Our problem was not even her!!!) We nor our friends have EVER experienced anything like this! I will say again, the manager did take the fajitas and soup off our ticket, which we didn't expect but appreciated. For it to be not only my favorite place, but also my birthday, it truly was such a let down and we will never go back to that location again. This behavior and the food was UNACCEPTABLE! But I see now in reading other reviews, sadly this sounds like a common theme for this location. I wish we had known that...

Alright, first off. Our server was outstanding, attentive, and super polite (especially to my kids). The restaurant was clean and well-kept. But most of all, the 3 For Me Lunch special is AFFORDABLE at $10.99! Wendy's is right next door, and we got twice as much food for less money at Chili's by ordering off the 3 For Me menu. How is this possible in this economy?? WELL DONE CHILI'S! Hopefully, they keep this it like this....it can only bring more business in.

Updated review. Editing this review to include today's experience at this restaurant. We've been back several times since my initial review, but today was not so good.

Firstly, our server was spectacular, she really was sweet and understanding and none of the negative lies on her. After she took our order, and we waited for a bit, she came back to inform us that the chicken we had ordered was all frozen and that we would have to wait 30+ minutes if we wanted it.

My daughter has a red meat allergy, so we couldn't just order something different, it had to be chicken. So we managed to get through it and get something that would work.

Our server was kind enough to tell us she would see about maybe comping something on the bill since we had to wait and had to readjust accordingly.

She came back after the meal and informed us that her manager said there would be no adjustment or comp.

At the very least, management should have come out and told us that themselves and apologized for the confusion and for not informing their servers before service started. Servers should know if things are not available beforehand. I blame management for this poor service today, and this restaurant needs to retrain their management staff and take more accountability as leaders.

The food was still great, and the value was excellent. But this customer service interaction left a sour taste in my mouth. I was not happy with this...

I went here last night with my sister. We were both really hungry after an afternoon shopping trip. We went into Chili's and firstly we were seated fairly quick. But they sat us in a small booth and the spotlight from the ceiling above this booth was literally right in our faces. It made sitting there very uncomfortable. I didn't want to ask for another seat as they were pretty busy, but going back now I would have. The server was nice. You could tell they were understaffed because he was going here there a everywhere. We ordered an appetizer and it was good. But when our plates came I was VERY disappointed. My plate was literally COLD! None of the food was the slightest bit hot. You could tell it had been sitting a while. I got the servers attention and told him the issue. He got the manager over there and I told him what was up. He asked if I wanted it remade and I said NO. Then he asked if I wanted it comped and I said yes. I told them to take the food as I was no longer interested in eating cold food that had been sitting who knows how long. The manager didn't even apologize. My sister ate her food but she said the portions were too small for what the price was and her food was over salted. We also ordered 2 burgers to go and neither one of our spouses liked them! They both said they were undercooked. I will say say server did come back and apologize for the cold food and I appreciate that. But because of my experience and the fact that there are so many other restaurants in Branson I will...
